"San, if you don't slow down the bike this instant—! WATCH IT!" Kurenai screeches just as San swerves away from the large truck that he was barreling towards. They had argued earlier about who would be driving the motorbike and in the end, San got his way. What Kurenai didn't account for was that San was trying to kill her from a heart attack.

She can hear him cackling from upfront, his narrows eyes shining with mischief and amusement. He takes a left on the next intersection they arrive at, glancing back over at the tattooed woman behind him who's clinging onto him for dear life.

One arm of hers is wrapped tightly around his waist while the other is wrapped across his chest; her nails digging into the man's skin. Her eyes are wide with anxiety and she looks like she's about to yell at him.

"Relax, I'm not gonna kill us." He tries to reassure her but she becomes even more irritated.

"Where are we even going!?"

"Somewhere," he responds vaguely, slowing down his speed and feeling Kurenai relax her grip on him.

Sighing, San decides that he'll have to stop with his games to make sure that she's okay, driving into the entry of a park named Grazier Woods.

He's not sure why he chose to stop at this destination, just going by the little voice at the back of his head. The deeper they go into the trail that leads up the park's hill, the more San feels a connection to the place forming.

He's been here before, and with Kurenai.

The tattooed woman also feels the same way except that she refuses to believe she came here with San, brushing it off like a deja vu.

They finally reach the summit of the hill, confused as to why they're even here currently but deciding to stay silent on the matter.

The whole day San had been dragging her up and down Fever district, going in and out of stores together for no other reason but because he wanted to. And Kurenai, not having the guts to tell him off, went along with him, enjoying the small time she shared with him.

The way they both act like they've known each other since forever really only feeds into San's ideas that some of their memories have been erased, and as much as Kurenai tries to ignore these outlandish accusations it's becoming increasingly harder to justify everything they're experiencing.

San comes to a full stop at the summit of the hill overlooking the west side of the city. Killing the engine of the motorcycle, he takes off the helmet Kurenai lent him.

"Why are we here?" Kurenai asks him suspiciously, looking for any sign in his character that he's contriving something but finding nothing.

"I just felt like coming here." He shrugs, leaning forward on the handles of the bike and taking Kurenai along with him. "You know you can let go now, right?"

"Oh," Kurenai quickly unwraps her hands from around his torso and uses his shoulders to steady herself as she dismounts the bike. "My bad."

She walks on over to the edge of the hill they're on, waiting for San and turning to face the city that stretches out for miles on end below her. From up here, everyone and everything looks like little ants or toys.
