Chapter 28: Fox Card Game

The fresh morning breeze storming in from the Bedroom window, the presence of the Foxes, all together... make all the possible stress fly away.

The Foxes seem to be awake, still unsure, you decide to remain laid down.
"Psst, Kaga... Psssst~!!" the crimson Fox wakes her Sis.
"Nee-san~? What's up?" her Sis responds.
"Let's go surprise Husband-sama with a breakfast!" Akagi playfully suggests, a bad thought in your head.

"Hold your Tails!" the Man of the House announces.
Kaga quickly grabs her tails holding them tight as she looks at you. Akagi starts checking her tails for anything out of the ordinary.

"I meant that as a, Stop. Not for you to hold or check your tails. They're fluffy and beautiful." you compliment their fluffy physique.

"Husband-sama! Can we still surprise you with Breakfast?" Akagi asks, tilting her head and wagging her tails.
"Sure, I'll tend to my beard in the meantime." you say, getting out of bed.
Letting your beard grow for a few good weeks now, you start to think it may burden the Foxes. They can't caress your face without feeling a sharp pain. Unacceptable!

As you were thinking of your beard's hygiene, the Foxes dashed downstairs.

Racing to the bathroom, you start shaving. Slowly and carefully not to hurt yourself.
You can hear the Foxes downstairs, making breakfast. Asking each other, what is what, what goes where and finally... "How big does he want it?". Having complete shaving, you tend to your face with a special cream, quite girly... I know, you dash to put your Shorts and a T-shirt on.

"What are you two doing?" you ask, gasping for air.
The Foxes turn towards you and stare... as the Eggs start to simmer, their attention switches over.
"Husband-kun, take a seat! We'll be done in a second!" Kaga announces.
Following the White Fluffs advice, you sit down.

Recognizing how nice it is to have Wives, that cook for you, do the laundry and give you their unconditional love and care.
The breakfast... only you Master, with high dexterity and knowledge of the best meals to start the day, it is no wonder. 

The Foxes stand strong regardless, making Lunch and Dinner most times. But not because their Husband's lazy, but because he enjoys their Cooking. The Sakura Cooking.

Back to the Breakfast...
The Sisters lay before you the breakfast you've prepared for them countless times, Bacon and Eggs.
The smell of the Bacon... mesmerizing.
The Eggs... firm and fluffy.
Not holding back, forgetting about manners, you devour the meal without mercy for the Plate or the Table.

The Foxes are standing on their feet, staring at your Primal eating habits.
"The Meal was excellent, fantastic even. Thank you very much." bowing your head, you thank the foxes.
"Glad to hear, Husband-chan! You ate like a baby!" confused by their words, you stare at them.
"I ate like an animal..." you say, still confused.

"Not for us. You were like a baby let alone to eat without any utensils. So cute!" the Foxes add.
Realizing the lack of energy these two have left, you stand up and tell them to sit down instead.

"Husband-sama~, what are you doing?" Akagi tilts her Head, curious.
Kaga sits beside her, wagging her Tails and carefully observing.
"I'm making Ice Coffee and you two deserve something to eat as well." your words ignite their excitement, you hear their Tails wagging.

After making them the same meal they made for you, the Foxes yank their Ice Coffee and sit down under the AC.
"Nee-san~, this is nice~!" Kaga gives into the feeling of Summer.

Akagi lies beside her, attempting to sleep under the soothing sound of the AC.

As the Foxes sleep soundly, you check your phone. 
More Money... Check.
More Profit from translations... Check.
From a financial Point of view, everything perfect.

The morning hours turn into the late afternoon hours.
With the Foxes awake, they charge the Sofa. Jump on it, and start reading Magazines.

You sit on the Kitchen chair, stretching your legs over another one, finally... you drink the second serving of Ice Coffee. Slowly... closing your eyes.
"Husband-kun, can we play Cards?" bursting you awake, it's the twins asking for a game of cards.
"Sure loves!" you excitedly say.
"Husband-san, there is a reward for us when we win." Kaga adds. You agree to it.

The Twins walk over to the upstairs living room and sit down. You decide to fill their cups with another Ice Coffee. 
Once the Cups are full you bring them theirs and go back down to get yours, finally you join them.

"So what are the rules?" you ask them.
The Foxes begin...
"Each of us gets five Cards. You have to match the card that's on the table with one of yours..." Kaga begins.
"If you don't have one that matches, you'll draw one..." Akagi ends.
"Until one of us has none left!" they add together.

Simple rules and interesting. The first round thus begins!

"I've won!" Akagi yells in victory.
"Alright, next round Ladies. The one who loses last until... 8 PM, will make dinner." you lay the challenge down.
The problem is not who makes dinner... but the tight schedule it's on. Only two hours until everyone in the house is sleepy beyond any action, dinner must be done.

The Rounds go on.

Having been utterly defeated... you accept it and head to make dinner. The sun has already set, the clock shows it's 8 PM.
The Foxes join you downstairs, they seem a bit worried.

"What's wrong you two?" you ask them, cutting the meat.
"Husband-sama... We didn't upset you, right?" their fears for your happiness dig deep into your heart. 
"Not at all, Loves. I adored every moment of it, I don't mind losing... as long as it is against you two. Next time! I'll win!" you reassure them.
They wag their Tails and sit, patiently awaiting their Husband's cooking.

Finally, Food has arrived. Grilled Chicken Breast with mashed potatoes.
"Husband-chan! It's so yummy!" Kaga compliments your cooking.
"Akagi?" you ask for the Crimson Red Fox's opinion.
"Hmm..? Yes, it's very good!" Akagi was busy savouring the food, her response was thus delayed.

As the eating comes to an end... so does the Day.
The Foxes head to the Bathroom and head to Bed, making it ready for your arrival. You wash the dishes and clean your face, then head to the Bedroom.

The Foxes... on the Bed and awaiting their beloved Husband. You dim the lights and lay down, the Girls immediately envelop you with their Love, Care and Fluff.

Resting their heads on their Pillows, snuggled up against you. They pull the thing Summer Blanket up, covering all but your upper bodies. Together you head into Slumber.
"Good Night, Husband-chan. We love you!" the Foxes say.
"Good Night you two. I love you!" you tell them.
