She picked up on the second ring. "Hello?" "Hi, Celine." He listened to her exhale, then smiled. "How do you feel about Ireland?" "It's a country. I've heard it's pretty." She shrugs. "Why has it come up?" "I'd like to talk to you about an opportunity taking place in Ireland. I think it would be great for your career." But Rene was sure he needed to see her. He needed to be able to gauge her reactions and see through that stage persona she was so quick to pull. "Okay, I'm all ears." She said. "Perhaps it's better if I come over and talk to you about it in person." "Yeah!" He could picture the glowing smile on her face. "Of course. Come over whenever. I'll give mom and dad a heads up."Rene didn't even mind that concession. He would take what he would get. Plus, it made sure that he didn't get confused. Celine, as perfect and beautiful and excellent as she was, was only a client. The best damn client and woman he'd ever met, but just a client. Having her parents around would make that clearer than anything else in the world. The drive was short but felt shorter considering his excitement. The opportunity, the fact he was going to get to see Celine. It was all excellent. Rene arrived at the house, nestled in a general neighborhood in Quebec. He knocked twice and Celine opened the door. Every time he looked at her, it was like taking a deep breath of fresh air. As if he'd been holding his breath for ages and his lungs only then got filled.
