Rene picks her up and carries her to bed as if he can read her mind. "Not everything is hard, love." "But you are." She teases. He chuckles and lays her down. "And I'm going to spoil you all night, whatever you want, whatever it takes." How is he so perfect? Every word out of his mouth a symphony that Celine wants to ride out, memorize, play on repeat until she knows it by heart. He kisses her again as he comes down on top of her in bed, his hand tightening in her hair like her mouth is all he needs, an oasis in the frozen tundra. "I promised to keep you warm, Celine." He pants against her. "Are you going to keep that promise?" She asks as she teases the buttons on his flannel shirt. "I am." "Good." She undoes another button. "Because I'm freezing. I'm so cold, Rene." It's a lie. She's sure he knows it too, but she can't quite make herself care. If this game gets her closer to him, gets her every bit of his attention, his love, his devotion, she'll commit to it. She'll give herself goosebumps by submitting to the emotions spearing her heart over and overagain until he's finally inside her, giving her what she needs. "You're the only cure I know." She guides his hand to her thigh. "And I'm so tired of being patient."
