Celine huffs, but the week passes quickly. There's just too much to do for time to go slowly. They have to get all the food, start preparing, pick up family from the airport, adjust the bed situation. Celine doesn't even have a room to herself. Luckily, she's not sharing with a married couple, but still. It's so much to take in and the holiday can't come fast enough to soften the blow. She huffs as they do some last minute preparations around the house for the party and puts on something cute before she worries about the flannel. Even with Rene's wife showing up, she's going to look good and remind Rene of the time that they've missed out on. She drags on cut pants and a long sleeved shirt that holds to her body in a way that's hot, but that her mom can't complain about. It works. Then she bounces around, sucking on candy canes while waiting for the last few guests toshow. Anticipation echoes through her body, begging for relief. It would be so easy for her to just steal Rene for the mistletoe she hung in the hallway ... or her room, or the front door. It would be easy right, and since there's mistletoe no one can say anything, can they? She bites down on the candy cane and her mother shakes her head. "Honey, relax. There's going to be so many people here, it will be fine." "There are already so many people here. Momma, we don't have enough room for everyone. The house is big, but we don't have enough beds as it is." Celine reminds. Her mother shakes her head slightly. "I feel like you're not in the holiday spirit at all. Take a deep breath." Therese put a Santa hat on top of Celine's head and kissed her cheek. "I promise, it will all be okay. And if it's not, well it's Christmas and I have rules in my house against fighting.
