The next song that picks up is familiar. It perks her ears, but she tries not to look at Rene. She doesn't have to when he takes her hand and sweeps her towards the dance floor. Celine looks back at him. "My parents." "This is our song. I'm going to have it with you." He says, twirling her and settling deep into the crowd. Celine wraps her arms around her neck and she smiles up at him. Rene rubs down her back, sending little sparks of pleasure dancing across her skin. Celine shivers. "You cut in to dance with me to this song." "I wanted to have the slow dance with you, I couldn't give it up. I can't give it up, even now." He presses his forehead to hers. "Plus, I want this to be perfect for you. Swaying in your chair isn't enough." "You noticed?" "Of course I notice." Rene whispers, kissing her cheek as he moves to whisper in her hear. She can almost hear his heartbeat over the music and crooning lyrics. "I always notice you, Celine. If you're in a crowd, if you're on the stage, if you're sitting in your chair, wishing you were dancing, I notice. I like you." Celine looks up at him in awe. How can he just ... say exactly what he wants? Without fear or rejection? She blushes and pats his chest. "Shut up and dance, Rene." He chuckles. "Yes, love."
