"Mom loves it." Celine keeps her eyes trained on the dancing crowd. "Even though it's pure chaos and so much work, she says that showing your loved ones how much they mean around the holidays is the point of this time of year." "She's right." Rene carefully rubs the back of her arm, so quickly that it could almost be an accident if someone was to notice. "But you should show those you love how you feel all yearround." "No matter what stands in the way?" Rene turns and sees Celine watching him with hope in her eyes. He smiles. "I think so." "Interesting." She bites her bottom lip as she looks Rene over. His blood boils. He wants to steal her away, just take her down the hall and have even five full minutes alone where he can shower her in affection, make it clear that as far as he's concerned, she's the only woman in the room. Rene curls his hand into a fist. "And I'll prove it soon enough." "Good. You know how impatient I tend to be." She rubs her arm slowly. "And how demanding I am." "You're much less demanding than you think." "And you only think that because you like to give me what I want." She teases. "Celine!" Therese calls. She gives Rene a look that makes it even harder to stay away, but all the more necessary. If they keep up this game, he's going to end up hard, with all these people around and no way to take care of it until he can get Celine alone. Not the ideal ... but the night will be over soon enough and that means that he and Celine can carve out time together ... if he plays it right. And for Celine, he's willing to put himself in awkward areas.
