"Patrick's mother." Rene fills in, as if he knows what she's trying to figure out. He hits a button on his phone. "Let her in please." Rene stands to open the door for her, but Denyse hurries in before he can get there. She hugs him, flashing a huge smile. She nods to him. "It's so nice to see you!" "You as well, how's Patrick." Rene asks. Celine watches as they catch up for a moment. She's not sure if it's just her, but Denyse seems to hold a little tighter to Rene than his other ex-wife. She tries not to let it bother her, but that's easier said than done. Denyse turns and notices Celine as they start to talk about the ball. She blinks a few times, notices their lunch and gasps. "I'm so sorry. I'm interrupting you're lunch. You could have told me, Rene. I wouldn't have interrupted if I would have known." "It's no trouble at all" Celine assures. "We were just finishing up, are you hungry at all?""No, thank you. I just ate. Now I feel terrible." Denyse continues. Rene finds his voice again. "I'm sorry, Denyse. Please allow me to introduce Celine Dion to you. Celine, this is Denyse." Celine stands and shakes Denyse's hand. She flashes the best smile she can manage. "You have a wonderful son. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times now." "Oh, thank you. And how nice to meet you as well! I take it that you're the artist Rene is managing now a days?" Denyse asks. "I am." Celine agrees. "And you are coming to the event as well?""Oh yes!" Denyse claps. "We will be there. It's the one time of the year I can force him to get all dressed up. The ball is just wonderful."
