Celine rolls her neck out the next morning, still riding the high of winning the competition and her win with Rene. She bites her lip, trying to control her smile, but gives in, giggling and hugging her pillow. For a second, she feels like a love struck little girl, overwhelmed by just seeing her crush. But then she remembers the very adult responsibilities that are waiting for her attention. As soon as she leaves her bed, she has to face the Incognito Tour that's lined up which means working nonstop for a week. It also means being away from Rene before even telling him exactly what she thinks of him, what she feels for him. And it feels too soon for that, but life refuses to stop, even for important moments that she wants to savor. Groaning, she drags herself out of bed, trying to leave behind the giddiness, but can't quite manage to reclaim her normal calm. Which only helps her get ready behind the privacy of the door. Once she's all dressed up, she opens the door, runs to the kitchen to grab breakfast, and sees Rene asleep on the couch. Glancing around to make sure that her parents and siblings aren't around, she grabs a banana, then creeps towards Rene. He looks so peaceful asleep. Like not a damn thing in the world could trouble him, even if it tried. She smiles softly and bites her lip. And this is the same man that controlled their time in Dublin so easily.
