chapter 16: woman

It's been about a week since I cried in front of luciano and surprisingly nothing has happened. We don't talk about his dad when we're outside and I'm okay with that. It's at his own pace and his story to tell.

It's 3 am and watching American Horror Story is getting boring. I'm starving and I want Mcdonald's i'm getting some. getting out of bed i make my way over to stefanos room to see he's gone i'm guessing his car is too

walking past his room I hear a faint noise from Luciano's room and I walk in to see if he's ok. He's moving around a lot and is visibly sweating. He's saying words under his breath but it's hard to make out.

"no stop no no no"i should wake him i climb my way to the other side of the bed "stop no ow stop" his words are mumbled and hard to hear but i know he's dreaming about his father and it breaks me so i shake him a bit "luciano" he moves his body "please no take me leave her leave her dad no" oh shit shaking him harder this time he wakes up "I SAID LEAVE HER!" he screams and I somehow end up pinned on his bed with him in top of me

"Luciano it's me it's me niki your ok it's just a dream" I caress his face with my hands and his breathing is fast. if this were under different circumstances i'd totally kiss him " i'm sorry" he's breathless and he moves himself off "no need to be i should have taken a little more caution id slap someone by accident if i were you" he lays on top of his covers now and has no shirt on ugh i wanna do body shots off this man NIKI NOT THE TIME

catching his breath he puts his head in his hands. I touch his shoulders and he flinches a little but covers it up oops. "my bad'' he tries to catch his breath "your ok'' tracing my finger over a a small butterfly on his shoulder he has a bunch of these "are you okay now" he looks at me "yea i'm better i've been able to manage the nightmares over the years" i tilt my head at him smiling "niki what are you doing in here" i continue to trace the butterfly "i was gonna ask stefano to take his car to go get food and i heard some noises" he nods

"Are you hungry cause we can go together" he smiles at me "sure just give me 15 minutes." oo yay this should be fun "alright meet me outside use the back door" i smile and hop off his bed exiting his room.

I go downstairs and start Antonio's car. He's so gonna kill me. the car door opens and Luciano is in a new set of clothes and wet hair oh my god keep your cool i buckle myself in and pull the seat up it's still hard to see over the dashboard fuck.

luciano laughs a little"do you want me to drive because your short ass cant see over the dashboard" i look at him laughing a bit "yes please" i playfully roll my eyes and get out switching seats with him.

we get out of the driveway and head towards town "so where are we going" i look over at him "i could really go for some mcdonald's right now" he looks over at me and lets out a dry chuckle "Mcdonald's it is"

We got our food and drive to a cliff to eat. getting out of the car i take the bag of food and we head towards some rocks to sit on.

popping a fry in my mouth he looks at me just smiling "what?" he says nothing "what?" i laugh a bit playfully pushing him and he laughs "as sick and twisted as you are i've never met someone in my entire life that i trust like you" butterflies flutter within me and i can't help but smile "thank you luciano" i lean my head on his shoulder as i open my nuggets and sauces.

"come on eat" i remove myself from his shoulder and shove a fry inside his mouth laughing. now sitting directly across from him touching my knees with his. As we eat it's a comfortable silence this would be the perfect time to kiss him NO THAT'S WERID "
