This chapter will be a short one. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this yet but after certain consideration and an overlook at the plot I've made so far, it makes more sense for Hina to be paired with Todoroki, rather than Bakugou who I originally paired together because *cough* I'm a simp *cough*. No, I'm not gonna change the whole story but I want to have Todoroki get much closer to Hina as the concept of their closeness sounds really intriguing to me. I'd like to think of them like platonic soulmates in this manner. So, enjoy some TodoHina bonding!

Hina knocked on Todoroki's door. She'd just received a text from him saying it was 'urgent'. "Todoroki?" She called out. The door opened to reveal the boy, nervousness on his face. "Hina, hi. Come in." He said, letting her into his room. They walked in and sat at his Japanese-style table. He took a deep breath. "I'm gonna just cut to the chase. I have a crush on Midoriya." He bluntly said. "Okay." Hina simply replied. "But I have no idea how to ask him out, let alone pursue him." He explained. "If I'm being honest, I think he likes you too." Hina said, leaning her head back. "Really?" He asked, deeply intrigued. "Well, obviously, don't take it from me but he always looks happiest when you're around. Well, you and Bakugou but they're childhood friends so that explains that. He really trusts you. I mean, he literally just sent you his location one night, knowing that you'd come to his assistance. If that's not love, I don't know what is." Todoroki had to take a second to process what she'd just said. "So what do you think is the best way to start a romantic relationship?" He asked, leaning forward. "One of the things you two have in common is that you can both be a bit dense. But then also overthink things so I think the best way is to just ask him on a date. Be direct with it otherwise he may just think it's a friendly hangout." She suggested.

"How many relationships have you been in? Because you're really wise." Todoroki said, making Hina blush slightly. "Oh, I've only been in two but Bakugou is the longest. Either way, I've been told I give good advice for someone with such little experience." She couldn't help but gloat. "Can I be honest with you?" He asked. "Of course!" She reassured. "I thought I had a crush on you when you first joined our class." He said, awfully calmly. Hina's face and hair blushed a deep red. "R-Really?" She managed to stutter out. "Yeah. I couldn't really understand but I felt a certain connection towards you. And since I didn't recognise you from when we were younger, I just thought it was what people call love at first sight." The more he spoke, the more flustered Hina became. "But as time went on, I felt a similar, but stronger, feeling with Midoriya. But I realised that I still have those feelings for you. Just not in a romantic way." The way he explained resonated with Hina. "I know that may sound weird-" "No, I get it." Hina interrupted as she shuffled to sit next to him. "I feel the same way. Even though we never really talked, I felt the same connection." A smile crept onto Todoroki's face which was then interrupted by a thoughtful, suspicious look on his face.

"Now that I think about it, you did just develop a fire-related quirk. Could that mean..." Hina put a finger to his lips. "Shoto, what did we say about your conspiracies? I doubt my father is related to your parents. And there's no chance my mother is related to any part of your family so don't go there." She nervously laughed. "But you have to admit, all of my other theories have potential." He said, moving her finger. "Okay, I'll say this one more time. All Might is not Midoriya's dad, Eraserhead is not Shinsou's dad and Bakugou isn't related to you either." She listed as he sighed and leaned his head on her shoulder. "Sure." He sarcastically said, making her nudge his head in response. The two laughed together at their own actions. "I mean, I've heard that the concept of soulmates doesn't always have to be romantic. So, maybe we're platonic soulmates." Hina proposed. "I like that idea." Todoroki said, closing his eyes. Suddenly, the door slammed open and Bakugou stormed in. "I'm coming in. I heard Maki was in he-" He stopped midsentence and looked at the scene before him. Todoroki didn't move a muscle before he spoke. "I'm gay." He said. Bakugou continued to stare and sighed. "Made lunch. Come down and eat it before it gets cold." He simply said before walking out. "Did you make any for me?" Todoroki asked, making Hina try to hold back laughter. "Make your own damn lunch, Icyhot!" He exclaimed as he walked down the hallway. Todoroki and Hina stood up and started to follow the blonde. "Bakugou, just letting you know that's a hate crime." He said, shutting his bedroom door and getting into the elevator making Hina burst out in laughter.

I hope you liked this chapter, even though it was hella short. Now that summer is rearing its head, I'll have more time to upload. And by that, I mean I'll have less consequence if I stay up and pull all-nighters as I, for some reason, write better at night. Anyway, I'll see you in the next update. <3
