Was he struck with his own madness?

Chiron decided it may be best to lead both Nike and Athena away from the guy before either of them exploded in pure anger.

"Demigods? Don't you have your training to work on?" The centaur asked, turning to his pupils.

A bunch of 'oooh man' and 'awwww' was heard from the children.

"Oh Connor before you go, could you go get the Athena cabin please?"

The wisdom goddess cringed at the sound of her own name.

"Like, all of them or just Annabeth?" Connor asked.

"All of them." Chiron nodded.

"Like right now?"

Again the centaur nodded.

"Aw man... It's their study hour... They will have my head for interrupting them."

Athena couldn't help but smile at the thought. She'd hate it too if anyone were to interrupt her while she was working on something.

"Just go get them please? Oh and bring the rest of the Nike cabin too please."

The Nike kids that were already there had had some theories on who this winged woman was. Their theories where confirmed when Chiron asked Connor to go get the others.

"Where should I bring them?" Connor asked.

"The statue of Athena Parthenos please." Chiron responded.

The boy nodded and dashed of with a grim look on his face. Probably mentally preparing for the task that lay ahead.

"The statue of what now?" The wisdom goddess whispered in Nike's ear as they started making their way towards it.

"Oh come on. You heard him. You know it's here too. Why are you so on edge?" Nike said in a regular tone.

"Shush!" Athena shushed the angel.

They were trailing a little behind Chiron and the demigods.

"Why am I on edge? Gee, I don't know, maybe because I'm seeing my kids. All of them. At the same time. Underneath an 11metre tall statue. Of me!" The daughter of Zeus whisper yelled.

"As if I'm not going through the same thing." The victory goddess whispered back rolling her eyes.

Was she serious?!

"Yeah well you weren't forced into this by your girlfriend." Athena said in a hushed tone.

Just then she realised they'd all stopped and that the demigods and centaur present had very clearly heard her. She could feel the ichor in her veins burning with embarrassment. She swallowed and decided it was best to shut up from here on.

After a few moments of awkward silence later, the Athena cabin and the rest of the Nike cabin came hiking up the hill.

As soon as Annabeth layed eyes on the women and the people sitting next to Athena parthenos she knew what was going on. She spotted her mother's Grey eyes and Nike, well, she didn't seem like she was even trying to hide who she was.

The daughter of Athena figured that if she was an angel she wouldn't want to hide her wings either.

"Ah good, you're all here. If you could all please sit down." Chiron asked.

Each of the demigods sat down in the grass. The goddesses and the centaur however remained standing. It only made things worse for the wisdom goddess. If she hadn't sensed their eyes on her before she definitly did now.

"Who do you think they are?" One of Nike's kids whispered.

"Isn't it obvious." An Athena camper replied, rolling their eyes.

The Nike kid shook their head.

"Look at the statue and try again." The Athena kid said.

A bunch of whispers reached Nike's ears. Like 'What are they doing here?', 'Is that really mom?' and 'Can we go now?'.

She tried to ignore them, but it was rather hard. After Chiron shushed them all everyone looked expectantly at the two goddesses.

"So if you don't mind my bluntness, why are you here?" The centaur asked.

Athena wished she could have that out of body experience again. It seemed like a better option to look over a field of demigods at her feet and not be able to talk.

"We figured we needed some time away from bickering Olympians and a loud city so why not take the opportunity and pop by? Come say hi?" Nike explained.

In the front an older child of Nike probably about 14 years old rolled her eyes. It seems she was very tempted to get up and leave, but for now she stayed.

"Why come here though? There are multiple fancy places you could flash yourselves too. Why our camp?" The same girl noted.

"Because Marina we wanted to see you and I don't think we can do that anywhere else." The victory goddess responded.

The resemblance between Nike and Marina kind of spooked Athena. They had the same Surry blonde hair and the same challenging glistening hidden in their amber eyes.

"Why now? Why not yesterday or tomorrow?" Marina continued.

"Because there is only today. Yesterday has past and tomorrow only the fates know what happens." Athena cut in.

"I like the sound of that." Malcolm Pace said.

Against all odds he was the one to get up and walk to Athena.

"Welcome to camp mater. Would you like us to show you around?" He asked with a smile.

"Yeah, I'd like that..." The wisdom goddess stammered in response.
