Longingly the victory angel started at the discussing gods in front of her. Standing guard at Zeus' throne during council meetings was boring alright. Nothing to do, just stand there.

But there was one good thing about all of it. Since Athena's throne is positioned right across from the god of thunder himself she could enjoy the view.

Athena was talking about a certain plan of hers to keep some monster at bay. What monster? The angel had no clue, she wasn't really paying attention. But the way the spark lit up in Athena's eyes made her fall in love all over again.

Leaning on her spear she stared at the wisdom goddess. For a moment Athena caught a glimpse of Nike looking at her. She sent a small smirk her way and the angel felt as if she was floating trough the sky.

After Athena finished talking the council carried on. They agreed to her plan. Now Aphrodite had this matter she needed dealing with. Something small and petty. It annoyed most of the other gods.

Athena lost her intrest in the meeting and turned her eyes to the proud victory goddess, standing next to her father's throne.

Her armor glinted in the beam of sunlight and her polished spear seemed to send of waves of power. And then there was still the majestic set of wings folded onto her back.

The wisdom goddess had to make sure she wouldn't start drooling. It wouldn't look very professional. She smirked as her eyes locked with Nike's hazel colored ones.

Athena started tapping the arm rest of her throne. She was bored and wanted this to be over so she could hear Nike's voice again. Suddenly she had an idea. She started tapping in morse code, while looking the victory angel dead in the eye.

'I miss you.' She tapped.

At first a look of confusion showed on Nike's face. The next moment she understood what Athena had tapped and a wicked smile laced her lips.

With taps of her fingers against her armor she replied.

'I miss you too.'

'What are you doing after?'

The wisdom goddess just smirked. She knew very well what she had said. Just as she knew very well what the next thought in Nike's mind would be.

Her smirk turned smug as she saw the golden blush on the cheeks of the angel. Nike couldn't help a soft chuckle. It earned her a stern look from her boss, but she didn't care at this point.

She was having way too much fun with this.

'You... I hope.'

The victory goddess' heart raced as she tapped the words. For Athena was not the only one who knew morse code. Poseidon for example knows it, as does Artemis and Ares.

Luckely Ares was asleep, Artemis arguing with Aphrodite and Poseidon messing with Demeter.

Now it was Athena's turn to blush. She did not just say that in the middle of a council meeting. Secretly she loved how bold the angel was being. It made her fall for her even harder.

The wisdom goddess let out a longing sigh. If only this thing would end.

'Just maybe Tyche is in a good mood.'

As soon as she translated it, Nike's heart skipped a beat. That usually meant she was about to get what she wants. Right now all she wanted was just to be alone with Athena.

Just to be sure the victory goddess sent a small prayer to the goddess of luck. You never know when she decides to cross you, better stay on her good side.

"Athena will agree with me!" Artemis suddenly yelled to Aphrodite.

It jolted the grey eyed goddess straight from her thoughts. Thoughts of how the victory goddess would treat her and vice versa, if they were alone right now.

"Tell her sister. This is not correct!"

Artemis focused her silver eyes on Athena. She needed Athena's help on this. At least Aphrodite would back off if she did. None of her hunters needed any man and it would remain like that.

Athena, who already knew the chances she would agree with Aphrodite in an argument between said goddess and Artemis are very small, decided to just trust her little sister.

"I agree. It is not correct." The wisdom goddess said.

Aphrodite scoffed, but let it slide. This always happend. Those two just needed to get laid some time. Then they would see a person was very important in their lives. Plus she would have two new toys to play with.

Artemis gave Athena a thankful look. That was all Athena needed. She had no idea what she had just defended, but if it made Artemis happy and made her calm down it was totally worth it.

Nike grinned. She knew the wisdom goddess had no idea what just had happened because of her.

"If that is all, then we can... Finally... End this meeting here. Council dismissed." Zeus boomed.

As soon as he flashed out the victory goddess was relieved of her duties and relaxed. Finally she could get out of her official posture. Good, her back was starting to hurt.

The other Olympians flashed out. One by one they disappeared. All but one. Athena remained in her throne.

The angel walked over while taking of her helmet.

"Hi." She said when she stood in front of Athena.

"Hi." The wisdom goddess replied with a smile.

For a moment they stared into each other's eyes completely getting lost.

"Come here." Athena said as she took a hold of Nike's hand.

She pulled her onto her lap. In one swift movement she added a kiss. A kiss the victory goddess had been waiting for all day.

She straddled Athena and just enjoyed the kiss. After a few seconds they both pulled away.

"You know..." The wisdom goddess started.

"What?" Nike asked half concerned, with a raised brow.

A thousand and one possibilities started racing through her mind in a split second.

Athena saw her worry. She couldn't resist a chuckle. It looked adorable.

"You make me melt dressed in your armor. But you're even hotter without it." She whispered in Nike's ear.

Nike's cheeks burned gold and her heart was definilty skipping beats now.

"Then let's go take it off." The angel whispered back.

She got up from Athena's lap, pulled her out of her throne and along through the halls of the temple.
