" Are you the daughter of Harry styles" one girl asked but before anything else...
" You can have your seat, Miss Styles and by the way, I'm Mr. Maxwell, your Geography teacher" he told me.
" Oh okay, thanks" I said then went ahead to take my seat. I could feel everyone's eyes on me but I just choose to ignore it.
As Mr Maxwell continued the lesson, I brought out my binder and what do you know... I forgot my pen on the first day of school. Great, just great.
I sat in silence, looked around the class and saw everyone writing. This is so not my day right now.
" Here, you can take mine"
I looked back and saw a redhead girl holding out a pen to me.
" Thank you" I said then took the pen.
" I'm Melody, by the way" she told me.
" I guess you already know my name... Blake" I smiled and she returned the gesture. She seems nice.
All thanks to Melody, I was able to write out my notes in class.

Few hours later
The school bell rang but this time, it was break time. I breathed out in relief then followed the other students to the cafeteria and to my surprise, it was hella huge.
As I walked in, I noticed some students looking at me and murmuring. Gossips.
" Blake!!!" I heard someone say my name behind me. Turning around, I saw Melody running over to me.
" Hey" I said to her as she reached me.
" Hey" she said back then we walked over to where the food was given. Few minutes later, we got our food, which was some burgers and fries. That wasn't so bad.
" We can sit over here" she said, leading me to a table.
" Thank you" I said to her and she smiled.
We ate our food in one awkward silence. At that moment, I decided to break off the silence.
" Thanks again for helping me out in geography class" I said.
" It was nothing, I just noticed that you were the only one in class not writing" she shrugged.
" Good notice" I said then we both chuckled.
" So where did you move from?" She asked.
" From Los Angeles and I'm here in London" I said.
" Oh that's awesome, I've never really travelled out before"
" Why?" I asked.
" My parents really don't find the need to" she shrugged.
" Oh, I get your point" I nodded as we kept talking, three girls approached our table with smug smiles.
" Hey nerd" the brunette in the middle said to Melody. Is this the Queen B? Oh man, I watch too much teen movies.
" What do you want, Lyla?" Melody asked, trembling.
" Oh, miss redhead. Why didn't you do the homework I asked you to?" Lyla asked.
" I had no time to do it" Melody said.
" Yeah, you had no time, but you have the time to be stupid enough not to do my homework..." Lyla spat out.
" Just cut the crap, will you?" I yelled out and the three bimbos looked at me I surprise.
" And who the hell are you?" One of Lyla's friends asked.
" I see she's one of those nerds" Lyla mocked.
" Oh shut your mouth up, I don't know who the hell you three are but all I've got to say is that you have no right to insult her that way" I said, already getting mad which attracted the attention of the students.
" And what are you going to do about it?" Lyla asked.
" I won't say, but let this just sound as a warning, brunette, but the next time you come around and insult Melody, you're going to be so sorry" I warned.
" Blake" Melody said, trying to get me to calm down.
" Who is Melody to you, anyways?" The third girl asked.
I looked at Melody for a while then answered
" She's my friend, now you three get lost before something bad will happen here" I glared at them.
" This is so not over" Lyla flipped her hair then walked out with her minions.
And with that, the whole cafeteria gave a round of applause and instantly, Melody gave me a huge hug.
" Thank you so much for standing up for me, no one has ever done that for me" she smiled.
" You're welcome, but I gotta ask, does this always happen to you?" I asked.
" Uhmm....yeah" she nodded.
" For how long?"
" Let me just say, since 5th grade" she said.
" Holy cow, why does she bully you?" I asked.
" I guess she has a thing against redheads like me" she said.
" What? That is so wrong... To me, I actually think I like the personality of redheads, so fierce and above all they're so beautiful" I said and she smiled.
" Thank you again, Blake... But, do you really wanna be my friend?" She asked.
" Sure, if that's okay with you"
" Yeah, I'd love to be friends"
Then the bell rang signifying that break was over.
" Oh crap, break's over" I facepalmed.
" We have chemistry next" she said holding out her schedule.
" Let's go before we're late to class" I took her hand and we both walked out of the cafeteria, on our way to chemistry class.
