Blake

" Okay so we start up with some warm-ups" Zach instructed.

" Alright" I nodded.

" Come on" he said and we started with some warm-ups.

After warming up, he handed a ball over to me. I had to catch it immediately so as to prevent it from hitting the ground.

" Good catch" he smiled.

" Thanks" I responded with a smile too.

" Now I want you to throw the ball into the net" he said.

" You know I'm not really good at that stuff" I said, putting my hand on my waist while the other held the ball.

" Don't doubt yourself, Blake" he simply said. I shook my head then held the ball with my two hands targeting the net.

Throwing the ball, it hit the net then fell.

" You see...?" I pointed at the ball.

" Try again" he instructed me throwing the ball back at me. I gave him a look then tried again and this time...

" Bingo" I put my two hands up in celebration.

" Alright" he clapped.

For the next couple of minutes, I practiced throwing the ball into the net.

" Now we move over to the skills" he announced.

" Skills?" I asked and he nodded.

" Come on, you know dribbling?" He asked.

" I know but I really can't do it" I confessed.

" That's why I'm your tutor"

" Tutor?" I chuckled softly.

" Yeah, but like a coach" he smiled.

" Whatever" I sighed.

" Now you do this". I watched as he passed the ball in between his legs.

" That's dribbling?" I asked.

" Yeah" he said, regaining his balance.

" That's so hard" I whined.

" It isn't really hard"

" That's easy for you to say, you basketball freak" . I heard him chuckle at my words which made me give him a sassy smile. Guess I've spent so much time with Uncle Louis during my childhood. I really miss him tho.

" Just try it out, every first trial isn't perfect" he told me. I nodded at his words then went ahead with the 'dribbling' .

I did my best for the first few times and for a while, I was kinda getting a hold of myself but unfortunately, as I tried to dribble the ball one more time, my legs mistakenly got caught up by the ball making me fall hard on the ground. I was sure I had a bruise.

" Blake?" I watched as Zach rushed over to me, giving me a sympathetic look.

" Are you okay?" He asked.

" Does it look like I'm okay?" I said, already pissed off.

He held my hand, trying to help me stand but I did was fall back but this time into his arms.

" It hurts" I winced then he did the unexpected, he literally carried me in bridal style and took me to a bench where he sat me down.

" Thank goodness, I brought my first aid box along" he said, bringing out a little first aid box from his sports bag.

" Awww, that looks really cute" I said, admiring the box.

" Thanks, I actually got it when I was 13" he told me.

" And you still have it? Wow" I said then I felt a stinging sensation on my knee. Looking down, I saw how he applied some iodine with some cotton balls.

" That really hurts"

" Yeah, it'll actually help in the healing process since your bruise isn't so big. So for now, we'll take a little break and within thirty minutes, you should be fine again." He told me then i nodded.

"...thanks" I told him as he finished with the treatment."

" So while we're on break, maybe you could tell me a little bit about yourself" he told me.

" Look rookie, I'm actually boring" I scoffed.

" Why do you say that?" He asked.

" I don't know,I just think I am" I told him.

" Well If I'm being honest with you, I'll say I don't really find you boring like you claim to be" he said.

" Really?" I asked.

" Yeah" he nodded.

" Okay... Well I'm Blake"

" I know that part, silly" he laughed.

" I'm 14..."

" I also know that p..."

" Let me finish, Okay?" I held my finger up to his lips, shutting him up.

" I moved here from Los Angeles and well I have a wonderful family" I shrugged .

" That's all you have to say?" He asked.

" Basically..." I said casually.

" Alright"

" What about you, how old are you?" I asked.

" I'm 16..."

" Seriously?" I asked and he nodded.

" Wow" was all I could say.

" I actually come from Australia but I grew up in London. I've always dedicated myself to sports since it helps me out in my thinking capacity."

" I wish I was also into sports" I shrugged making him to chuckle.

" What?" I asked.

" Nothing" he smirked.

" Sure" I rolled my eyes.

I looked at the other teens that played around the court which made me smile at the way all of them related so well with each other.

" Hey man" a voice called out. I turned my head to see who was calling.

" Oh hell no"
