This chapter is long because, as one of the main characters, I don't do Julian's POV often, so there's a lot to unpack. Enjoy!

A loud thumping hit my ear, waking me up. For a second, I couldn't hear my surroundings until I heed the aggravating voice of my brother.

Ron?

I opened my eyes to see him in my bedroom, with a pillow smacking me.

"Despierta dormilón!" He raised the pillow, but I caught it midair and threw it on the other side of the room.

"I need a gun," I thought to myself.

"What the hell you're doing in my dorm?"

"You finally awake, little bro! We came to get you!" He happily sat on the end of my bed.

"We?"

"Yeah, we, stupid!"

I raised my head to Billie Eilish sitting at the top of my bed. I haven't see Amara since I came back to Toronto, but she grew up a lot. Her dark hair had green strings, and she was wearing baggy clothes. I called her Billie Eilish because we talked almost every day, and she developed an obsession with the artist. After what happened to her, the pink girly girl evaporated like smoke; she covered herself more and wore baggy and darker clothes like Billie. And I was trying my best to preserve her innocence and be there for her as much I can, even miles away from her. I didn't want her to change or feel different from her former self.

She was still my baby princess, and I would not let anything in this world hurt my sister.

"Hey, you."

A smile forged into her little face. She leaned and kissed my forehead.

"I missed you." She whispered to me.

"I missed you too, sweetheart." I smiled. "Why are you guys here?"

"We came to pick you up. Home is boring, bro, pop is traveling up and down, and mom is planning this ball for Christmas."

"And you're not helping?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"You know I have a lot of stuff to do; she has a thousand maids and whatever... you packed your bag yet?"

It was strange Ron flew to Toronto with Tamara, but I was sure he didn't want to help with the ball, so he ran away from mom—What a lazy piece of shit.

"Yes. Tamara, if you're hungry, there's food on the fridge." She didn't hesitate to leave the room. She loved food too much. She was waiting for her signal to ravage the kitchen.

"Where's your girlfriend? I'm surprised I didn't find a shawty with you. You're sleeping alone."

"I'm single."

"Yes, and this is what I can't understand. How are you, single? You're An Elvero. You had hoes left and right."

"I didn't have hoes. I had girlfriends. Long terms girlfriends." I ran my hands on my face, frustrated about this 7 AM conversation.

"Long terms? Wait, what-oh yeah! Agea! Whatever, I could swear I saw you every time with a different girl. You were cheating?" He started going to my drawers without my permission.

"No, I was not! She had different hairstyles every week, and you ignored that. You're the whore of the family, not me."

"Me?" He gasped. "I am a family man. I am just auditioning for the right one, and you're wasting time."

"You ate STI's out of every stripper's pussy, so shut the fuck up." I snarled.

"Mierda. Why are you so mad? Are you on your period? What is the last time you had sex?"
