Matapos mag-dinner ng lahat ay nagpasalamat sila sa mga dumalo. Hindi naman nawala ang ngiti dahil naka special mention ako galing sa boyfriend ko. The whole hour, I felt like flying without wings. I can't believe that I fall in love while hating him and his guts.

Nagtungo siya sa 'kin kasabay ng pagtugtog ng mahina ngunit nakaka-relax na musika. His lips twisted, he handed me his hand.

"May I have this dance?" he asked while grinning. I bite my lips and nods my head.

"It's my pleasure," I answered. We walked until the middle of the dance floor. He put my hands over his shoulder and hold my waist. He pulled me closer to him.

"I love you," he whispered through my ears. Napasandal ako sa dibdib niya. Rinig na rinig ko ang malakas na tibok ng puso nito.

"I love you too, Phyton."

Humigpit ang yakap niya sa 'kin, "Parang hindi pa yata ako nakaka-greet sa 'yo," natatawa kong sambit. Nanginig ang balikat niya hudyat na tumawa ito.

"Yeah, but you gave me my two gifts. It's like non-verbal," he said. Natawa ako. I shook my head. Two gifts, being his girlfriend and the watch that he didn't open yet.

"I can't believe you." I rolled my eyes, "Happy birthday!" I greeted him. Kumapit ako ng mahigpit sa leeg niya, "I love you, noon ko pa dapat sinabi 'to pero hinintay ko talaga ang birthday mo," sabi ko sa kaniya. Puno ng sinseridad ang boses ko.

"You should have told me earlier, love. I can't believe you too. How can you hide your feelings, huh?" he asked, slightly raising his voice.

I nibbled my bottom lips to stop myself to laugh, "I don't know. I just thought that this is the right time," I responded.

He kissed my head continuously, "Right time? You made my heart flutter so much. I thought I can't handle it anymore," he stated. He shook his head while looking away. He is smiling crazily.

I smiled sweetly. He is so cute.

"But you did,"

"Because of you. Damn, why are you so beautiful tonight huh?" parang nangigigil siyang marahan na hinaplos ang pisngi ko. Kinuha niya ang takas na buhok sa mukha ko at nilagay sa likod ng tenga ko.

"Matagal na akong maganda. 'Wag ka, Phyton," pagbibiro ko. He chuckled. So I slightly pinched his shoulder. He groaned but laugh eventually.

Pagkatapos naming sumayaw ay bumalik kami sa mesa naming dalawa. We talked about things ng bigla akong may naalala. But before I could utter a word ay tinawag siya ng mom niya. Magkasabay kaming nagtaas ng tingin. He looked at me and smile.

"Are you good here, love? I think I need to say goodbye for business partners," he said, pressing my hand that he was holding.

I nodded my head, "Okay lang ako dito," sagot ko. Mukhang hindi pa siya kumbinsido dahil tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.

"I'll be back. Mabilis lang 'to. Just stay here, okay?" his mouth went slack.

"Oo nga! Sige na. Kanina ka pa ata nila hinihintay," sabi ko. Tumayo na siya at ngumuso. Napapalingon pa siya sa 'kin pero agad din na huminga ng malalim saka tumalikod.

Nanatili ako sa upuan ko at kinuha ang phone mula sa pouch na hawak ko. It's 12 midnight. Ang bilis naman ng oras kapag kasama ko siya. Napanguso ako. Wala man lang akong natanggap na message mula kay dad? Grabi naman.
