Comfort

Kai's POV

I was sitting in the changing room playing my phone. I felt uneasy when I saw Zia earlier. She was wearing very short shorts. I know she is not my girlfriend but still. I just don't want people to look at Zia like some hungry maniacs. I was pulled out of my thoughts when Mason entered the changing room with a girl. Everyone got silent and stopped what they were doing. All eyes were on Mason. " what?" was all that we heard from him. They all got back to there work making a mental note to tease Mason later. I wonder how much longer can Tammy hold up. He looked like he would start teasing him any moment now. Mason took a new jersey from his bag and gave it to her. He led her inside the shower room.

Once she entered the whole room went to chaos. Mason was being tackled by the guys. Tammy looked at him and said "Bro who is that? Is that the chick you never told us about? come on bro no need to be so shy". Reece shook him and said "Yeah c'mon Bro spill the tea already". Mason chuckled and said "you guys are crazy. You know you could beat the parlour ladies. You know the gossip department". Tammy playfully punched Mason and said "Yeah yeah. Now tell us". He sighed and said "I just happened to spill my coffee on her and here we are". They pushed him and said "Ahhh your no fun". Mason looked highly offended, but before he could reply the girl came out. The jersey was big for her so she tucked it in from the front. Mason looked at me and said "Kai come with us I don't want walk back here all alone".

I just stood up without any complaints and walked with them. While walking up to there Mason asked "What's you name". She looked at him and said "Hailey Walker". Mason nodded and he said "what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl". Gosh this guy. "Oh and by the way who was the girl next to you? Your friend?". She giggled and shook her head. "she's my little sister. Hezial". Now that caught my attention. She stopped and searched around looking for Hezial. She looked at her phone and said "did she already leave. No. Let me call her". It was like she was rather talking to herself. She dialled Hezial's number and we heard it ringing. I followed the sound and it was on the ground. I brought it back and gave it to her sister. She took it and said "something is wrong". Mason put his hand on her shoulder and said "your just over thinking. Everything will be fine. I'm sure she must have dropped it by mistake. Maybe she went home". Hailey looked at Mason and said "no no I know she is in trouble". Mason looked at her and said "really how?".

She looked at him and said "first of all she would not go home without me or at least she won't go without informing me. Second of all that girl will never let her phone go missing or out of her sight. Her phone is like a part of her. If it goes missing she'll know immediately. Heck that girl would trade me for her phone". I marked the new information I got about Hezial in my head. Hailey looked at us desperately and said "guys please. I know I'm a no one to you. But please help me find Haze. I'm begging of you. She is everything to me. She is all I have. I don't want to loose her". Mason nodded and said "Let's find her together. We'll help you. Right kai?". I nodded and we started searching. Once we reached near the store room we heard voices coming. So we decided to check it out.

Hezial's POV

I opened my eyes since his lips never touched mine. He looked at me and said "Let's take this to another place. People might interrupt us and I don't want anyone to do that". With that he dragged me out to a room. Judging by the looks of it I think this place is the store room. He pushed me against the wall. And he did it rather harshly. I winced in pain when my back came in contact with the wall. His one hand was holding both my hands above my head. His other hand ripped my jersey. I was terrified. Tears were coming out of my eyes. He was touching me inappropriately. Help. Please. Someone. Anyone. The first person that came to my mind was Kai. I closed my eyes shut and shouted "KAI".

Just when I said that the door burst open and there stood Kai. His face was filled with anger. I have never seen him like that. It was scary. The guy looked at Kai and said "dude we are busy over here. Maybe visit later. Now move it". His eyes found mine and his face softened for a moment. I was lost in his eyes when I heard my sister's sound. It was a matter of seconds when she came running and stood next to Kai. Mason Mount was also next to her. She saw me and I can tell that she was ready to kill this guy at any moment. The security guards came in and took him away. I think Mason informed the security since he was the last to enter.

I slowly stood up and walked towards them. Sis was looking at me with worry in her eyes. I knew she wanted to hug me and comfort me. But I think right now what I need is his comfort. I looked at him and he was looking at the ground. His hands were balled into fists. He was putting so much pressure on his fist that his knuckles turned white. I slowly walked with tears in my eyes and hugged him. My hands were around his waist and I buried my face in his chest. I know right now my sis would be fuming with anger and jealousy. But I didn't care about that right now. He slowly wrapped one arm around my back bringing me closer to his body and his other arm was on top of my head. " shh. It's okay now. It's okay. I'm here. He won't be able to touch u ever again".

When he embraced me like that I felt safe. Like nothing in this world could harm me. As Cliché as it sounds I felt like this was the safest place on earth.
