Regret

Hezial's POV

I had just landed in London. I took a cab and drove off to our house. Kai will be coming tomorrow. There are playing against England. That means he's playing against Mace. Speaking of which I just can't wait to see the guy. I came home and saw that Mace and Hailey were cuddled up on the couch. I didn't want to disturb them so I just walked to my room without making a sound.

As soon as I entered my room I saw my rooms window open. I closed the door behind me and walked up to the window. I closed the door and as soon as I did I heard the sound of my door locking. I looked behind and saw that no one was there. Okay I'm starting to get a wee bit scared now. I looked around my room and saw no one. Then suddenly I heard the sound of my bag dropping. I looked around and same. No one was here.

Okay fine I'm a Hella lot scared now. "umm h-hello. I-is a-anyone here?". Pure silent. I'm gonna make a run down stairs. As soon as I turned around my face came in contact with a hard surface. I fell back and saw a tall man. He was wearing full black. His hoodie was hiding his face. I kept crawling back and the man was walking towards me slowly. Painfully slowly.

My mind was blank and I couldn't think of anything. My back came in contact with the wall and I said "w-who are y-you?". He bend down to my level and I closed my eyes shut. I was so scared that I was shaking. The only name that came in my mind was Kai. I lowly said "K-kai please h-help". "Kai Havertz? That young man. Oh don't worry about him? You won't be able to see him for a long time. I took care of him". What no no. Does he mean that he killed Kai. What no that's crazy talk. Suddenly I heard laughing.

An all too familiar laugh. I opened my eyes and saw Kai. What Kai. I stood up and he was on the ground clutching his stomach. I stood up and I was in tears. It kept coming out of my eyes non stop. I was so scared. How can he do it? He stopped his laughter and he looked up at me. In that instant regret was written all over his face.

I walked away into my rooms balcony. Suddenly I felt his arms wrapped around my waist. His face was buried in my neck. "love? Love? Zia? I'm sorry. Haze". I did not look at him. It's not that I'm angry I'm just still scared.

Kai's POV

At the moment I saw tears in her eyes. I regret everything. I was not supposed to come until tomorrow but coach changed the plan and we came today. Luckily I came earlier than her so I came straight here to surprise. Of course Mace wanted to add some more into the surprise and made me do this. We both didn't know that it was gonna turn out this way. If we did. We would have never done this. I turned her around and suddenly she hugged me.

What I thought she is angry. She hugged me so tight. Because our height differences I had to bent down. I hugged her back and I heard her sobs. Gosh what did I do. I've never seen her cry like this. Was she that scared. Ah I feel so bad. Guilt is eating me up. I slowly pulled away and her face was so red. I cupped her face in my hands and said "oh gosh love. I'm so sorry. I feel so bad. Please don't be mad".

She kept her hands on top of my hand and said "I-its not t-that I'm mad a-at y-you. I-its just that I-I thought I l-lost y-you". She grabbed my shirt tightly and said "Kai I-I don't w-want to loose y-you". "I-I thought whe-". I cut her off by kissing her. She went dead silent. It worked. I pulled away and said "I'm so sorry love. I didn't know that this was gonna end up like this. If I did I would have never done it". She nodded and hugged me. Is she that scared.

I hugged her and said "love I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry". I felt her nod her head. I pulled away and we both went into the room. We both laid down on the bed. Usually I would keep her close to me and hug her. But today she was hugging me so tightly. Her one hand was wrapped around me and my one had was playing with her hair to calm her down and my other hand was wrapped around her waist.

She looked up at me and said "Kai. Please promise me you won't do something like that again. I was so scared. I thought I lost you. So please". I nodded and placed a long kiss on top of her head and said "promise love".

She went back to her original position and I said "love are you really not mad?". She nodded and said "I'm not. I'm okay now. But can I ask you for a favour?". I kissed her head and said "anything love. Name it". "please stay with me. At least until I fall asleep". I nodded and said "that's my plan love". I tighten my grip on her and soon she was asleep.

I stood up and saw that the cloths that she was wearing were not that comfortable. I didn't want to wake her up but she as soon as I left the bed her eyes flew open. I smiled at her and said "you change. I need to freshen up before I go to bed". She nodded and as soon as I went in she changed her cloths and I did the same.

When I came out she was on the bed. I got in the bed with her and pulled her close to me. We both talked for a moment and soon we both drifted off to deep slumber. I'm sorry love. I promise I won't do this again. I love you so much that my heart broke when I saw the first tear fall from your ocean blue eyes.
