Mom and Dad

Hezial's POV

After the long trip I was so tired. I wanted to immediately go and sleep but, Kai interacting with the animals is a sight to see. He looked so calm and happy. It was like he was here all alone with the animals. I didn't want to disturb him so I just simply took some pictures of him. I saw a tree which had a nice shade under it. I walked up to there and sat down leaning my back on the tree.

I can see Kai smiling and patting a donkey. I smiled to myself at how much he is enjoying himself. He must have have missed doing this. He stood up and looked around. As his eyes landed on me he ran up to me and stood next to me. I smiled at him and he said "let's go home. Mom said dinner is almost ready". I nodded and stood up and he intertwined our fingers

As soon as we entered his house the smell of fresh food greater my nostrils. I took it all in. He smiled and said " let's go freshened up. Or you could take a bath. When mom says dinner is almost ready it usually takes thirty more minutes". I giggled and he said "let's go I'll show you your room".

He opened the door to a room and said "this is my room. You'll be staying with me. I'll be gone in two days so I didn't give you a the guest room". He walked up to me and hugged me. I returned the hug and he said "I want to treasure all the time I have until I leave for training. I won't be seeing you. But you are coming to one of my games with my family. Okay?".

I nodded and said "okay. But didn't you say you don't want the media to know about us yet?". He sighed and said "yeah I did so. But I had a talk with sis and after that I think I'm gonna be able to protect you. No I'm positive that I can protect you. Just if anything happens tell me immediately". I giggled and said "okay Amor. Then I'll see you and your handsome face in your game".

He chuckled and said "now go and take a shower you got 10 minutes to do so". Nodding I took my cloths and jumped into a shower. When I came out of the shower I saw Kai sitting on the bed with only a pair of black shorts and a towel wrapped around his neck. His hair was damp so I think he already took a shower. I put a little make up and wore a pair of black loose jeans and a white shirt tucked in from the front.

I wore my glasses since my eye was hurting a bit. I looked at Kai and his one hand was holding the towel and trying to dry his hair while the other was holding the phone. His eyes were glued to the phone. I walked up to him and climbed on the bed. I crawled up to Kai's back and took the towel from him. He just let me dry his hair and continued to scroll through his phone.

We heard a knock on the door and I said "it's open". The door slowly opened revealing Kai's sister. She smiled and me and said "dinner is ready". I returned her smile and said "be there in a bit". I pushed him a little to grab his attention. He looked at me and I said "wear a shirt and let's go". He gave me his phone and it had low battery. I shook my head and connect it to the charger.

His sister left the room and I saw Kai wearing a shirt and combed his hair with his hand. He walked up to me and suddenly bent down to reach my eye level. He looked at me and said "forget to tell you love. But those glasses looks really good on you". When I smiled he pecked my lips and said let's go.

When we reached down his mom smiled at me and said "dear we are so happy to have your here". I giggled and said "it's no problem aunty". She frowned and said "aunty? You can call me mom". I was shocked at this. I mean it's not like I don't like it. I never really called anyone mom. My mom passed away even before I could call her mom.

Without realising a tear slipped from my eye. I was about to wipe it away when Kai's mom ran up to me and said "oh it's okay of you don't want to. Sorry dear if I said anything that hurt you". I giggled and said "hurt me? No it's not like that. It's just I never really remember my mom. She passed away before I could even call her mom. So when you said I can call you mom I just felt a wave of emotions run through me. Sorry of made you worried".

His mom hugged me and I returned the hug. "Hezial you can call me mom. And call Kai's dad dad. We are your family". I giggled and she said "enough of this lets eat before the food gets cold".

After eating I helped mom and sis to clean the dishes. When we were done we all sat in the living room. I took my phone when I remembered about Hailey. I excused myself and walked to the porch. I dialled her number and immediately she picked up. "hey Haze". I smiled at her and said "hey sis. Have you eaten?" she giggled and said "yes I have. Since you are asking this question I'm guessing you have too. How's everything over there?".

I smiled and said "great. They are very kind people. Kai's mom asked me to call her mom and call Kai's dad dad. I cried at that". I heard her laugh and she said "I'm glad they are that welcoming. Now I don't have to worry about taking care of you alone anymore. You have Kai and his family too. Me and Mason are here too".

Oh Mason. "hey sis where is he? I mean your boyfriend". She laughed and said "wait. MASON COME DOWN HERE. HEZIAL WANTS TO TALK TO YOU". "my God sis. I asked you where he was. Not to block my hearing ". I know she is rolling her eyes at this. Soon I heard on the other side" what's up brat? Why didn't you call me when you got there?".

"from where do you think I'm calling you Mount? ". I heard him chuckles and said" ah your so sweat as ever. Anyway you enjoying there?". I smiled and said "yeah. Yeah I am". "where's Kai. Is her near you?". I looked at Kai and said "nah. He's talking to his family". "Mason chuckled and said "called us back later tomorrow when you both are together okay?". "okay. Call you later". He hummed in response and ended the call. Well the first day certainly is memorable. I walked up to Kai and his family and joined their conversation.
