Kai's POV

We warming up for the game. Don't get me wrong I love that my whole family is here to support me. That's what I've always wanted. But right now I wish I would be able to see Zia's face in there. But I know it she is not here. She is in England. Far away from here. No matter how hard I try focusing on on the game it does not work. I looked at the stands and saw my family waving at me. I looked further and saw Paige. Would just great. This match is gonna be torture for me. I just can't help but feel that she's gonna do something bad.

The warm ups were done and we headed back into the changing room. Once we were in there Timo came up to me and said "Kai did you see Instagram". I shook my head and took my phone quickly. I could hear the urgency in his voice. I quickly opened it and saw that Paige had posted a picture of her here with my family. This girl. She posted it and the caption said 'supporting my favourite man in this world'.

I opened the comments and some said

User1: Where is his girlfriend?I don't see her.

User2: I think they broke up cause she is just a slut and a gold digger

User2: she's so beautiful.

User3: wow I so ship these two.

User4: wow she said he is his favourite man in this world. Wow are they dating? If so I'm so happy for them

User5: OK. So Ya'll are just gonna ignore the fact that this beautiful lady is supporting him and his girlfriend doesn't even bother with that.

User6: maybe Hezial is just busy. There's no way she would not support him.

User7: that Paige girl is just trying to mess up their healthy relationship

I didn't bother going more further. There were lots of hate comments. Of course some were supportive but others were just trying their best to mess things up. I need to call Zia. I went to my contacts and dialled her number. It was coming switched off. I called Hailey too but she didn't pick up. Same thing happened with Mason.

It was time to go to play so I kept my phone and went out with the others. Once we were lined up the national anthem started. I was so distracted that I messed up the national anthem. Joshua was looking at me worriedly. I gave him a smile saying "I'm okay. Don't worry". He was not buying it. But I'm glad he didn't question it further.

The match started and I was missing passes. Missing goals. My shoot was messed up. Second half was no good either. When second half was about to end Rudiger came up to me and said "Kai if your worried about Hezial don't be. Look carefully in the stands" my eyes were searching for her and soon my eyes were met with beautiful blues eyes. Her blonde hair was nicely tied in a messy bun and she was wearing a jersey with my name and number on it.

A smiled made it's way to my lips. And from the looks of it. She doesn't seem so bothered with the comment. She was smiling just like she naturally does. She waved at me and she mouthed "focus". I nodded and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and opened them again. "Now let's get all the mistakes right shall we". Rudiger patted my back and said "yeah". With that he ran back and my full focus was on the game knowing that she is fine.

It was the last 2 minutes of the match. Kimmich was running from the other side so I made a dash from this side. I was free. I called for the ball and Kimmich being the best right back in the world just gave the assist right in front of me. In an instant I hit the ball hard towards the empty corner of the goal and it went in. Yes yes.

All the guys came up to me and hugged me. Once we finished celebration the last whistle was blown and I ran towards her. I ran all the way to her and she stood up. I leaned on the barrier and so did she. I hugged her and said "love. I'm so glad you came. I was so worried. I thought something might have happened to you. I was so scared".

Hezial's POV.

I watched as Kai scored the goal right at the last minute. I smiled and cheered. I saw him celebrating his goal with his team mates. Suddenly he ran towards me. Once he reached he leaned on the barrier. I stood up and did the same. Soon he pulled me into the tightest hug he ever gave. His face was buried in my neck and he said "love. I'm glad you came. I was so worried. I thought something might have happened to you. I was so scared".

I pulled away but his hands were still protectively holding my waist. I kept my hands around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. He soon returned the kiss and at that moment it was like the world had stopped and it was just the two of us. I slowly pulled away and Kai connected our forehead. He smiled and said "are you really OK. Love honest answer". I giggled and said "I'm truly fine Amor. If your talking about the hate comments I was here when she posted that picture. I wanted to surprise you but I couldn't couldn't get tickets near your family so this was the next available spot. Since I know it wasn't true it didn't effect me. Plus when I have someone like you as my boyfriend why would I worry about that. I know ow your gonna make me forget all that".

I smiled at him and he said "thank God. Love just keep thinking positively. Come to the changing room I want to intolerance you to the team. They keep asking me to introduce you to them". I nodded and said "first I'm going to say Hi to your family. Than I'll go". He nodded and said "our family". I giggled and said "our family". He gave me peck and went to the changing room.

I made my way to our family while avoiding a lot of people who were giving me the stink eye. As soon as I reached them I was pulled in for a hug by Lea. She smiled and said "oh my God your here. Are you OK?" I nodded and his mom said "I'm so glad your safe sweetheart. Have you met Kai?". I nodded and Paige said "I'm so sorry. I didn't know that it would effect like this. I was not thinking at the moment".

Even though she was saying sorry it didn't seem like she meant it. I just let it be and said" I'll get going Kai asked me to meet him. I'll catch up with you all later". They nodded and I started walking towards the changing room. When I was near a few girls came up to me and said "are you Hezial Walker?". I nodded and they said "why didn't you post a picture of you here?". I frowned and said "excuse me?". She huffed and said "we really thought you were not the right person for Kai Havertz. And we love him a lot. He was not his best at the start of the game. Did you to had a fight?". I shook my head and was about to reply when an arm draped around my shoulder.

I looked at the owner and saw Kai. He was smiling down at me and said "you ready love?". The girls looked at him shocked and he said "and girls we did not have a fight. Our relationship is still healthy. And we plan to keep it that was. Right love?". I nodded and he said "so if you guys will excuse us we have somewhere to be. Hope you guys enjoyed the match".

Once we were near the door he said "wait. Let me check if they are dressed. There's no way I'm letting you go in there if even one of them isn't". I giggled at this overprotective boyfriend of mine. He opened the door and pulled my hand. Once we entered all eyes were on us. I shyly smiled and Timo said "hey Haze. You good?". I smiled and said "yeah. I'm good". Then once by one the introduced themselves to me.

They were having fun and Leon fell and hurt his ankle. Their coach was worried and said "hey. Call the physiotherapist now". The staff said "I'm sorry sir but he already left. He got an emergency call". "umm can. Can I check him?". They all looked at me and their coach said "OK but do you know how?". I nodded and said "yeah actually I'm a physiotherapist myself".

I sat next to him and did some things to make sure how bad that's gonna be. I was done in no time and I said "Okay so it's not that bad. It should be okay once you out ice and get enough rest. But just to be careful I recommend taking a few test or scans". They all looked at me and their coach said "if you don't mine me asking have you worked for a football club before?". I nodded and said "yeah Chelsea". They all made an 'o' face and soon started another conversation. I was glad that my first meet with his national team went well.
