Part 20

I cannot believe I am writing the 20th Part, I started off as a short story but this has become like a regular one

Recap : SHOPPING FUN

The next day as directed by Sanskar, Swara had got kids to Sanskar's room. As usual when Manan and Cabir got to know that Kiara and Kavish were at office, they went and met them. While Swara and Sanskar were seriously working as they decided to leave around 12 in the afternoon. Meanwhile Swara had got Sanskar's bank details and she had transferred an amount of Rs.12 Lakhs to him for all the costs that were to be incurred by them for the Upcoming engagement. As they had budget of 15 Lakhs, 1 Lakh had gone in purchasing gifts for house members and 2 Lakhs for Cabir's ring and clothes. Though they had a budget of 15 Lakhs, Shekhar had broken the FD for 15 Lakhs in total and the same was transferred to Swara's account. So they had got a budget of Rs.17.5 Lakhs. Rest Two and half lakhs was spent on jewelry of Swara and Shomi. Along with kids clothes and accessories, they had also purchased gifts for servants of Unity Villa. So the entire budget was spent by them 

Once both Sanskar and Swara were ready, taking the kids they went to the clinic where tests were supposed to be done. The tests were done and the doctor said that they would get the results by evening. Swara and Sanskar decided to go to some Cafe or Restaurant for Lunch. Once they settled in a cafe, they placed their orders. The kids had a small play area so they decided to allow them to play for a while till the orders come. When Sanskar and Swara were all alone,

(Sanskar) "Swara, what was the need of you to transfer such a big amount. You could have paid me in installments and I wouldn't have minded. Even if you did not pay, I would have been happy."

(Swara) "No Sanskar, this is really not fair, You did not allow us to pay at the clothing shops as well, I know the amount that you are spending would be more so please no arguments on this topic. Anyways how many people are coming Sanskar?"

(Sanskar) "As not many of our relatives are coming and yours is just one family. There would be a total of 500 people because I have sent invite to the staffs to come with their family."

(Swara) "It's not even wedding and we have called so many people already?"

(Sanskar) "Do you think in the wedding so many people will turnout. It would be the same people we are inviting that would turn out. Though we have thought to combine two wedding together, I don't think people would turnout for either of the weddings because a GAY Marriage is also involved. I doubt in three months the mentality of people would change"

(Swara) "But there would be no harm in trying right?"

(Sanskar) "Let's think about the future later, what I have a feeling is we are going to have a small cozy wedding with family outside India because we will not be able to register their marriage in India as the law has not allowed the wedding of same sex people"

(Swara) "Why to remove the limelight from Manik and Nandini? Even they would be having some dreams"

(Sanskar) "You know why the name of the mansion as Unity because along with cultures our thought processes match as well. I am not saying we do not fight or there is no disagreements between us but when a decision favors and is for someone's benefit we all unite on that single person's decision. Anyways this is just my thought and I will have to put across my thoughts in front of my family and then based on hearing everyone's point of view we will come to a conclusion"

(Swara) "Okay"

(Sanskar) "We can always come back and throw a reception, which wouldn't be a problem for anyone"

(Swara) "May be you are right"

The waiter came and placed their food, so Swara went and called the kids to have their food. Sanskar and the kids were enjoying each other's company a lot. Once the lunch was done they moved to their car. As the kids were feeling sleepy, they made them sleep in the backseat with seat belts so they do not fall and they stopped the car near the clinic itself. Swasan continued speaking
