Jungkook had always been an oddball. Well, it fits the stereotype of an elf. The nose always in a book, a shy persona, the smart, always that the top of the class kid. Though there wasn't any schools in the forest, you just learn on your own.

However, jungkooks parents helped shape him into that stereotypical elf.

Being born into a strict household, he didnt gets must freedom. He was an only child so all the attention was on him.

He was smart, with his mother owning a small library, he picked up on reading and writing very quickly.

It pleased his parents. He learned about his elf culture very fast, along with other cultures also.
Shifters, fairies, flower people, goblins, moon children, mermaids, pirates, he knew a lot.

It came to the point where he got bored of learning the same thing over and over again. Rereading the same 100 books since he was a kid, he didnt like it. He wanted something new and exciting.

Though, he never really knew how to tell his parents this or even really express that he wanted to read something new.

So, he started going out more, with his parent's permission. You would think that a 17-year-old would have more control of his life but, his parents liked control.

That's when he met his grandma, min Eunbi. The crazy old shifter.
She wasn't that old at all actually, the people of the forest just called her old and crazy because it seemed like she has lived longer than she says.

She was someone that took Jungkook in to teach him witchcraft

She knew witchcraft. Well enough of it. It was something his parents didnt want him learning or do.  He didnt know why either. It wasn't like any other creature but a witch could make effective potions or do a spell good enough that it lasts the amount of time you want it to.

Jungkook felt bad about talking to his old lady and taking notes of her doings behind his parent's back. However, he liked this. Witchcraft. It was that one thing he was missing. There was always something new to learn from it. There wasn't any more witches in the forest as they all left to live in the village or travel.

When he was first brought to his grandma's house, he couldn't help but think he was going to be eaten. Only since it was so far away from where he lived and it was somewhat close to the river that divided humans and creatures. He heard so much about how evil the humans are and it was only rational for him to be scared of meeting one.

But the feeling that he was going to die left his system as soon as he took a step into the house. It was so different from his. All the candles and books, and crystals that were cluttered everywhere...his mother would lose her mind.

There were books he never thought he would see. So he read them all.

He was always fascinated with the pictures on the walls. He always wanted to ask about them but he felt that he would be overstepping his place. He was just some elf boy learning about witchcraft from a random lady he called grandma.

He did learn, because his grandma did have a loud mouth, that the little girl on the walls, was someone she loved very much. Jungkook could only think it was a daughter that passed away or something of that nature.

And so, for the next four years of Jungkooks life, now being 21, he learned what he could from his crazy grandma.

Jungkook couldn't help but feel nervous when his grandma quickly jumped around yelling about some girl and her son, which he always knew about but never really got to officially meet.

So when he finally did meet said son, he almost pissed himself. He knew of shifters and he met some. It was obvious he did as he lived in a forest that was a safe place for creatures.

It was an awkward encounter. More so on Jungkooks end. Jungkook just knew this yoongi guy didn't like him.

however, he completely lost when Yoongi started talking about how this girl was his. He didnt even know who this girl was but now that yoongi had told him to stay away, he will make sure too. Try to at least.

Well, that was before he saw who yoongi was talking about. As the beautiful lady walked toward them, he couldn't help but feel his heart speed up. He read about this kind of thing, it typically meant he was going to die of a heart attack. Jungkook didn't think that was the case though.

He wished to talk to her more, totally to only talk about witchcraft though. Nothing more...

To his disappointment, instead of walking with her back to his grandma's home and talking, well, it's now their grandma... he had to help with the weird-looking horse with yoongi. But he was raised to be a gentleman and kind so he helped.

The whole time he wanted to say something to her, anything. when he did, he felt like his mind was going to explode and his brain was going to cover the whole kitchen, just by how the kind Minji looked at him when he said she should stay. Oh, how he wished to get her alone to talk to her. And possibly stare at her pretty face.

Even more so, he truly wished for her to stay. Jungkook didnt want her to leave to go back to the human village. The horrible humans. Why go there when she could stay here and teach him more things? Things his grandma could never and things his parents would disown him for.

Oh how jungkook wishes Minji to stay...
