Chapter 42 : The Spark of Hope, Eri's divine miracle!

Izuku inspected Mirio as he tried to stabilize the injured senpai with his Ki healing technique, opting to get him stable and instant transmission out.

Sir Nighteye  evaded the fused overhaul as he touched his arm to activate his foresight and predicted where to dodge next.

"So, do you happen to know where Eraserfella is? I kinda want to have a lil' talk with him." asked Overhaul as he can't seem to hit Sir Nighteye.

Sir noticed immediately "So you're afraid of getting your quirk erased? Funny coming from a guy that erased my pupil's quirk." as he leapt over some stone pillars that was sent his way. Overhaul then created more arms in order to overwhelm Sir Nighteye as he'll never win at this rate.

Izuku looked as Mirio slowly woke up "Senpai! Let's get you out!.", but Mirio grabbed Izuku "Izuku, One for All! It's gone..." as he spoke sadly. Izuku sensed that Mirio's energy signature is a bit more.. "Empty" of sorts. Izuku couldn't believe what has happened as he looked at Eri.

"I'm sorry..." said Eri as she looked down, Izuku picked her up as he touched onto Mirio "It's ok. it's not your fault." said Izuku as he then used instant transmission to teleport out.

Sir Nighteye turned around to see that the boys and Eri is already gone as Overhaul used this chance to his advantage.

"Got ya now, ya bumbling fool!" said Overhaul as he sent multiple pillars that stabbed Sir Nighteye directly. Sir Nighteye gasped as his body is stabbed by multiple stone pillars as "You might've got me, but the girl is safe. You lose." as he then fall limp.

Just then, Izuku teleported back in as he looked at the injured Nighteye "Tch, Damn you Overhaul. You've caused a lot of trouble today, you know that?" as he got into his stance.

"And what? Don't you lecture me with that 30 Dollar haircut." said Overhaul as he pointed at Izuku's hair.

Sir Nighteye coughed up blood "Don't worry, that's the best joke he got." as Overhaul madly turned around.

Izuku used this opportunity to attack him as he punched him directly in the back, and then followed up with a kick. Overhaul tried to send some pillars to Izuku, but he is able to vanish away and countered with a kick, but just as Overhaul is knocked away, he created another arm and grabbed onto Izuku's leg.

"Ya plum done gone daggone did it now, son." said Overhaul as he then flung Izuku down to the ground.

"Who and the what- AHHHHHH!" as he is then slammed straight into the hard floor.

Overhaul then tried to use his quirk on Izuku but Izuku managed to kick him away before jumping out of the way of some more pillars.

"Are yer not gonna stay still? I can finish you off easier like that." said Overhaul as he then generated 4 extra arms to deal with Izuku.

Izuku just transformed into Super Saiyan 2 to respond to Overhaul "I'm kicking things up a notch!" as his hair raised up and transformed.

Overhaul looked at Izuku "So you're gonna turn blonde and defeat me? That's not gonna work.". Izuku looked at the bleeding Sir Nighteye as his rage starts to surface "Oh trust me, save that for when you beg for forgiveness." as he immediately punched Overhaul away.

The force of the punch was so much that one of the arms Overhaul created is instantly snapped from a single punch.

"Dang! This is even more powerful than the natural blonde's quirk. Mimic!" said Overhaul as the villain Mimic who has been hiding in the walls. He popped out to grab the quirk nullifying bullets and shot them at Izuku.

Izuku knew the bullet was coming so he just stood there as the bullet hit him in the back.

Overhaul laughed at his supposed victory "Ha! You fool! You didn't even try to dodge it! Now you've lost yo-" but is surprised that Izuku is still in his transformed state.
