•Paper Cranes•

"Gyu where do you wanna put these records?"

"Just put those in that huge box."

It was just a normal afternoon. My friend, Soobin, offered to help me clean up my whole apartment since he was disgusted at me when he saw spider webs and dust in the living room.

I placed all of the stuff that I decided to donate inside a trash bag and threw out the garbage that I found under my bed.

"Hey Beomgyu, I'm gonna throw out these origami stuff." Soobin hyung was about to head out with a brown box but I stopped him.

"DUDE STOP! Don't throw that away... please?" He raised his brow and gave the box to me.

"You do know you can throw these out, it will just get dusty when you leave it in here."

"I know, I know. It's just... these are special to me." I opened up the lid and sat down on my bed as I began looking at the origami cranes. Different sizes, color and design. I teared up while I was looking at a plain white one, sitting on top of the colorful pile.

"Well... may I know why it's so special to you?" Soobin hyung asked as he sat beside me.

"How do I start this? Well.. it happened like 2 to 3 years ago before I met you..."

"Hey there Beoms!" I turned around as an energetic creature jumped on me.

"Y/N calm down! I thought I was about to fall and ruin my handsome face." I jokingly said as I put my hand on my forehead dramatically.

"Yeah handsome face my butt. Anyways, let's go to the park!"

"Pfft after what you said to me, you think I will agree to go to the park with you?"

"Well yes."

"And what made you think so?"

"Because I said so. Now let's go stupid." I chuckled as she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the park.

When we arrived, she ran to sit on a bench where you can see the orange sun setting.

"Why are you just standing there? Sit down." She patted the space next to her and I followed.

Y/N pulled 2 white origami papers from her bag and handed me one.

"What are we gonna do with these?"

"Just make a paper crane.... well if you're smart enough." She giggled.

"H-Hey! I know how to make a paper crane. Here look." Y/N payed attention to me making the crane... and I obviously don't know how to make one.

"No Beomgyu you're supposed to fold this part and then bring that to the center and- You just fricking made a paper plane." I sighed and gave up.

"Here let me show you." I looked at her hands gently folding the paper, aligning them perfectly.

I didn't really pay attention on what she was doing since my attention span is really poor, I was mostly looking at her pretty hands.

"And there! You got yourself a crane." She placed it on her palm and proudly showed it to me.

"Okay okay. I'll try searching for a tutorial when I get back home since you're bad at demonstrating." Y/N threw the paper plane that I made at my face and we started wrestling each other.
