After the sht tons of works... I finally get to rest tho it will only last for 5 hours but at least I get to recharge for a bit.

It is a miracle that I get to have a sleep this long.

I completed my night routine and set my alarm before getting myself comfortable in my bed.

With my eyes already starting to close I say, "Cheers for a good sleep..."

THUD

I looked around my surroundings but still lying down. I can't seem to move my body, I just assumed that I feel really tired to move.

I felt something weird on my foot but I can't move my head to look at what it is or even kick it. I can't even shout for help, it's like my mouth is glued shut.

Then it hit me, I'm experiencing sleep paralysis.

My eyes widened in fear as I saw a figure ascending from the shadows.

I was panicking, I can't move or talk. I felt so vulnerable. My body was starting to tremble when the figure is almost near my bed.

"BOO!" I cried. A lot of tears flowed out of my eyes. I thought I was about to pee in my pajamas.

"WAIT CRAP CRAP CRAP WHERE ARE THE LIGHTS-" The figure tripped on my desk chair and stepped on a tiny house made of lego, which looks painful af.

I'm still crying. I don't know if it's because of fear, because of holding in my laugh, or I'm just confused.

After passing all of the painful obstacles in the dark, he finally found the light switch which revealed his identity.

Well he looks so far from being a sleep paralysis monster.

He looks like a teenage boy. He has blonde hair which is a mess right now and he's wearing a full black outfit. His face looks the exact opposite of a monster.

"I AM SO SORRY I DIDN'T THINK YOU WOULD REACT THIS WAY. I'M JUST DOING MY JOB TO SCARE YOU- I MEAN I DID SCARE YOU BUT NOT THIS LEVEL OF GETTING SCARED AND- are you laughing?" I can't help but laugh. Since I can't open my mouth, it came out muffled.

I just can't help but laugh thinking that this teenage boy just said boo to make me scared and I still ended up crying and now he's apologizing to me.

"I look like a fool don't I?" I tried nodding my head or something but my body is still frozen and my mumbled laughs are the only thing that can be heard from me.

"Oh yeah you can't talk. Here." He snapped his fingers and I can finally laugh out loud.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA A MONSTER APOLOGZING FOR SCARING ME- AND-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I THOUGHT IT WAS A HIDEOUS CREATURE- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA IT'S JUST A LITTLE BOY"

"Little boy?! DO I LOOK LIKE A LITTLE BOY TO YOU??? I'M LIKE 200 YEARS OLD. I PROBABLY SCARED YOUR ANCESTORS. YOUR MOTHER MIGHT ALREADY TOLD YOU STORIES ABOUT ME, ABOUT HOW I TERRORIZE PEOPLE'S SLEEPS. I'M AN EMBODIMENT OF A NIGHTMARE. I AM KAI KAMAL HUENING, THE MOST TERRIFYING MONSTER THAT YOU WILL EVER ENCOUNTER!"

"Pft how can I get scared when you look like a teenage boy annoying people's sleeps?"

"Oh this? This is just a mask."

"This is my true form." Kai's eyes turned bloody red. His pretty hands turned into huge sharp claws with his body growing more making him 2x bigger. A pool of black liquid was forming behind him as huge bat like wings grew on his back. His teeth grew huge fangs with more of the black liquid spewing out of his mouth

"OKAY OKAY CHANGE BACK CHANGE BACK-" With just a blink of an eye, he went from looking like a demon to looking like a teenage boy.

I can't help but just ask, "Who are you?"

"Darling I think the question is what am I?"

"As I've told you a while ago, I'm Kai Kamal Huening, I terrorize people's sleeps for 200 hundred years now blah blah blah I'm a demon. I'm like this probably since I was born. There that's the whole summary of me."

I tried nodding my head and just let out a ohh sound.

"What am I doing? Why am I telling a human about what I do?" I giggled at his confusion.

"If it makes you feel better, I can introduce myself." Kai smirked at me and sat on my desk chair.

"I'm all ears Y/N L/N."

"Wait how the hell did you know my name!-"

"Come on introduce yourself Y/N, then I'll answer your questions."

"So yeah I moved here to study and I also have a part time job which is why I'm always stressed out- Kai are you even listening?"

The demon snapped out from dozing off and sheepishly chuckled.

"Hehe sorry. It's just that I already know everything about you."

"WHAT THE FCK SO I JUST WASTED A WHOLE STORY TIME?? YOU ALREADY KNOW ME???"

"L-Look I'm sorry! I'll make it up to you when.... Y/N what time is it?" Kai said as he stared at the window. The sky was starting to brighten up with the sun rays showing up.

"It's probably almost 6am. Sht I lost 2 hours of sleep. Wait Kai where are you going?"

"I'll be back. Don't tell anyone about me."

"H-Huh why tho?" He snapped his fingers and my eyes immediately shut, making me fall asleep.

The only thing I heard him say before he left was. "Sleep tight darling."
