A/N: in this one-shot, Ahsoka isn't a Togruta, she's human but she still has facial markings. You'll also see characters from other fandoms :))

"Ahsoka, dear!" Mrs. Tano's voice echoed from the stairwell, "we should get going if you want to catch the train."

"Coming mum!"

Moments later, eleven-year-old Ahsoka bounded down the stairs, her trunk rattling loudly behind.

Grace Tano stepped back, smiling at her daughter proudly. "You'll flourish at Hogwarts, 'Soka."

"We're very proud of you," her father, Zephyr Tano, added as he stepped into the living room. "Don't forget that no matter which House you're sorted into, just be yourself, make friends, and focus on your studies."

"And-"

Ahsoka groaned. "Yes, mom, I get it!"

"Is everything packed?"

The blonde huffed in irritation. "You've known me for eleven years, dad, and my habits should be all too familiar by now."

Mr. Tano rolled his eyes playfully at his daughter. "If you say so. Now, if you want to get to school on time, then we must get going."

Ahsoka cheered, dropping her trunk in excitement as she ran towards their silver BMW.

Grace smirked, approaching her dumbfounded husband from behind. "Let's go before she runs to King's Cross Station by herself, Zeph."

"Platform 9¾... where is platform 9¾?" The blonde asked, intrigued. "Wait- excuse me, sir!" Ahsoka called after a station master. "Do you know where Platform 9¾ is?"

"Platform 9¾?" The stout man answered with a scowl, "think you're funny, do ya?" Turning on his heel, he walked off.

She was in the middle of blowing a silent raspberry at the unhelpful employee when she heard an amused chuckle from behind.

"I was thinking the same thing; why do they hire such unmannered people?"

The girl let out a shriek of delight. "Anakin! It's so good to see you!"

"It's great to see you too, Snips. I saw a ginger-haired lady say, and I quote, 'it's the same every year, packed with Muggles.'"

"Did you ask her?"

"No, I saw them walk through the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. Besides, a nervous-looking dark-haired boy and a bushy-haired brunette asked the same question."

"What are we waiting for then? Let's go!"

The Hogwarts Express was, in all aspects, magnificent. The billowing steam curled out of its funnel, caressing the engine. Vivid scarlet and dark black paint embellished the exterior, with flawlessly clean windows in each compartment. Finally, the Hogwarts crest was at the very front of the train, advertising its grandeur to all.

As countless photos were snapped, the minute hand inched ever closer to twelve as the hour hand hit eleven. Hugs and farewells were exchanged until the whistle blew as a warning. The pair made their way on board, practically walking backward while waving until their parents were out of sight.

"Well," Ahsoka sighed, opening a compartment door, "to hell with finding an empty compartment."

Anakin merely rubbed his eyes in response, too tired to argue. "Let's go."
