Chapter 78- He can Handle This

"Why are they here?"

One of the man got up and laughed," Oh my, Hiroki. You are as feisty as ever. Come on give your uncle a hug."

Mirai," Stay away from him. You will hurt him."

Hakuto frowned," Mirai, don't talk so rudely. Harumi, I told you about that surgery, didn't I ? That's why she is saying not to hug him."

Harumi laughed," Oh! I am so sorry! I completely forgot! It's just I got so excited to see Hiroki after so long, you know."

Other woman spoke," Honey, control your excitement. We don't want to hurt him."

"Of course, darling."

That woman got up and walked near her husband," Hello, Hiroki. I hope you remember me. I am Aunty Aimi."

Hiroki replied back dryly," I remember."

Harumi," Hiroki sit here. I want to chat with you."

Hiroki proceeded to sit besides Mirai while Hakuto and Harumi continued talking this and that. The other two people were quiet all this time. They didn't even look at Hiroki, greeting was far away. But Hiroki wasn't a b**ch. He said simply," It's been long time Uncle Haruhi and Aunt Reika."

Reika smiled slightly," It is indeed. How have you been?"

"Fine."

Haruhi snorted," Fine? How the hell did you even survive without your dad's money?"

Mirai glared at him," Because he isn't like your kids. He is capable of doing everything on his own."

Haruhi laughed sarcastically," Oh, then why is he here?"

Mirai smiled," I can ask you the same question. Why the hell are you here?"

Haruhi's face turned red with anger," Mirai! Don't cross your limits! I didn't want to come here either. But I still did for Hakuto.  Because I love him!"

Mirai was going to continue but Hiroki held her hand and indicated her not to continue. It was not worth it. He said looking blankly at Haruhi," Don't talk to her like that. Remember in whose house you are right now."

"YOU-"

Hakuto cut him off," Brother, Mirai and Hiroki. Don't be like this. It's been so long that we all are together. Let's not fight, okay?"

Haruhi snorted while Mirai and Hiroki didn't say anything.

Harumi immediately changed the topic," Brother, your 30th wedding anniversary is coming up in three months! We have come here especially for that! We are going to stay here for three months and plan a grand party for you both."

Reika added," Only if you agree."

Hakuto smiled," Why won't I agree? Isn't it fine, Mirai?"

Mirai looked at his happy face and couldn't help agreeing. Even though she hated his brothers' like hell but Hakuto was her love of her life. She would never do anything intentionally to hurt him or to destroy his happiness.

Hiroki wasn't interested in their chit-chatting anymore so he left. 

On the way, he met Itonome. He saw Hiroki's grumpy face and laughed," What's wrong? Did something happen during work?"

"No. Not during work but in this mansion."

"Hm?"

Hiroki smiled sarcastically," Your uncles and aunts are here. How much they are going to ask for this time is unknowing."

Itonome shrugged," What can we do? Dad always gives in to their demands. When you weren't here, they demanded from dad at least $50 million dollars."

Hiroki snorted," Only? I don't think so. They must have at least demanded $500 million dollars. They are damn greedy! God, I hate them!"

Itonome looked at him with amazement," This is the first time I have seen you hating someone. It's a new feeling."

Hiroki glared at him," Don't you hate them too?"

"Nah. Not really. I just find them extremely over bearing. That's it. Anyways, how did the first session go?"

Hiroki sighed," I didn't go. Actually, I forgot."

Itonome frowned," What? How can you forget such an important thing?"

"I just did. But, Mikasa took another appointment for tomorrow, so it's fine, I guess."

Itonome went blank," Mikasa? That woman from court, who insulted our family?"

Hiroki looked at him," Mikasa is a nice person. She sometimes can't control her mouth when she is angry. Don't misunderstand her."

Itonome rolled his eyes," I don't care. I am coming with you for the tommorow's appointment so tell her not to go."

And he left after saying this. Hiroki just sighed in response. Even though, he would have told her not to come, she would have never listened to him anyways.

The next day, in the office, Hiroki was angry. He glared at Ravi who was standing with a smug expression in front of him. Hiroki asked as calmly as possible," Why is the contract even worse than yesterday's?"

Ravi replied back nonchalantly," I think it's better. If you have any problems in them then sort it out by yourself. You are our head, after all. You should correct our mistakes."

"I told you yesterday to ask help from Sheila. Did you?"

"Of course I did! Even she thinks this contract is fine."

"Call her in."

"Do it yourself."

Hiroki frowned," Pardon?"

"What? I am not your secretary or a class four worker."

Hiroki didn't want to continue arguing with him, so he went out and stood in front of Sheila's desk. He asked," Did you approve on this contract?"

Sheila didn't even look up and replied," Yes, I did."

Hiroki frowned more deeply but didn't say anything. He then asked Anna," Anna, are you done with the approval of making of the seven Corvette ships? We have to get it signed by today from the court, water&transport department and navy."

Anna said," No. You never informed me to do it."

Hiroki was startled by then. If the approval would not pass on that day then the project will slip out of their hands. And it was a really big project and their company's first project for government. This was a golden opportunity for them to achieve back their success. Hiroki looked at her in disbelief," What the hell are you saying? I e-mailed you five days ago! Have you at least started on it?"

Anna said angrily," I never received that e-mail so how the hell will I start on it?"

Hiroki couldn't believe in his ears. He immediately rushed back in his office and started working on it. If he managed he could still pull it off.

The trio outside looked at his cabin door with grim expression. Ravi said," Maybe we went to far."

Anna also thought so but instead replied," No, we didn't. We aren't responsible for his lack of awareness. He should've confirmed yesterday from me."

Sheila said plainly," Don't worry. He can handle this or will be fired. After all that's what you both wanted, right?"

Ravi and Anna looked at her with guilty expression.
