Emily's POV:

Aaron and I had been awake for about 30 minutes now, yet neither of us had spoken a word. I had been thinking about many things. When was I going to call my mother? How did I get into this position? What are me and Aaron even doing? Are we together or not? But most importantly of all, were we gonna find out the baby's gender? I let out a sigh, turning to face him.

"Should we ask about the gender?" I say out of no where.

"I—we haven't really talked much about the baby," he stutters.

I sit up in the bed.

"I know. But we should," I place my hands on my prominent bump.

He sits up, placing his hands in his lap.

"Well, what about?" He asks.

"Well, do we want to know the gender? Are we gonna tell the team the truth? Are you going to be there for the birth? Do you even want to be in his or her life?" I spit out, surprising myself of how many questions I had.

"I don't mind being surprised about the gender and we can tell them whenever you feel comfortable. I want you to know I'll be here for both of you, and if you want me there for the birth then I will be," he gives me a serious look.

"Ok, but what about my mother? What will she say?" I shut my eyes at the thought.

"I thought she liked me?" He says confused.

"Well, yeah, when I wasn't knocked up without being married. You know how she is, always worried about how I make her look," I scoff.

"We can tell her whenever you want to as well," he offers.

"I just don't wanna end up like poor JJ. She has a child, is expecting another, and her boyfriend plans in proposing! Her mother doesn't even know she has a boyfriend," I let out a sad laugh.

"She still hasn't told her?" Aaron seems confused.

"No, and Reid has been so supportive of her. JJ's mother is the only grandparent they'd have you know. JJ's dad died years ago and so did Reid's mother. Reid doesn't talk to his father either after he left you know," I say in the verge of tears.

"Hey, hey what's wrong?" Aaron notices the water dripping from my eyes.

"How can I be so goddamn selfish?! They don't even have someone they can turn to that will support them and here I am worrying about my mother who won't even care for the most part," I weep.

"Emily it's ok," he wraps his arm around me.

"Aaron we have to tell her. Today. Please?" I beg.

"I—yes. I'm completely fine with that," he nods.

I let my breathing slow a bit.

"I uh. I'd better call her. Let her know that we're coming," I say getting up.

Elizabeth's POV (Ambassador Prentiss):

"Mother," Emily greets me.

"Emilia," I reply.

"I'm coming to see you today. I need to speak with you," she requests.

"What have you done?" I ask.

"What? I haven't done anything mother. Why must you always expect the worst of me?!" She asks irritated.

"Well if you must know, you run off all the time. I haven't laid eyes on you in four years and it's been over seven months since I've spoken to you," I retort.
