89. Seen a ghot

"Did I miss something?" You and Emma hear mark say.

You two best friends pull away from the hug wiping away your tears. "No you didn't miss anything" you let out a bubbly laugh.

"Okay" mark just casually walks away as he's collecting all the passports and stuff.

"Emma thank you so much for being there for me when I thought I had no one" you never knew she would push back all her future plans for you and also that mark would also do the same. "France is perfect for you two and you family" you smile.

As you go back to the bathroom, putting away all the jewellery and makeup.

"Y/n We are going down to the lobby for a bit we will be right back" Emma says

"Okay" you answer

Mark and Emma leave. You clean the bathroom counter and throw the wipe in the full trash can when all of a sudden deep down in the can you see pregnancy test it had two red lines- meaning it was a positive one.

"Is Emma pregnant ?" You think to yourself "why wouldn't she tell me ?. Maybe it's a surprise" you were happy but still confused. Trying to think of when Emma would have taken the test the only time she took the test was with you just a few days ago. Then it hit you "shit what if it's not her test but mine ?" You went into a light panic. "No no no it's not mine it was negative when we checked and I have no symptoms. It's fine. I'm not pregnant it's Emma" you calm yourself down. It's not like you were scared or mad that you were pregnant, you obviously wanted another kid but it was still a bit of a shock.

Emma and mark come back

"I'm back !" She yells you quickly get yourself together and try acting as calm as possible. "Everything okay ?" Emma asks "it's like you've seen a ghost"

Shit she sees right through me

"No I'm fine" you try your best convincing her "here your makeup" you give her the bag and walk straight out of the room and into the hall way.

"Y/n Stop !" Emma walks after you "what happened ?" She asks again

You take a deep breath "okay I'm going to ask you a question and you have to answer honestly, okay ?" Emma nods "are you pregnant ?" You ask her. She was a bit surprised that you asked her that.

"No, why would you think that ?" She says "the last time I checked was with you, and remember yours and mine were both negative"

"Oh shit" you answer

"WHAT !? what is it ?" Emma asks curious

"I was cleaning the bathroom and saw a pregnancy test in the trashcan and it was positive. Emma one of us is pregnant" you say

"Fuck" she says in a sarcastic-panic way.

"We have to take a test or else this is going to bother me the whole flight back home. I need to know who is pregnant" you say

"I think I might have one pregnancy test left" Emma say "but who will take it ?"

"Dose that really matter ? One of us takes it and if it turns out negative then that means the one of us is pregnant. Easy !" You say

"Okay but who will take it ?" She asks again "NOT IT !" Emma yells

"What ?! That's not fair I wasn't ready !" You say. You two acted like children.

"I was first you have to take the test" Emma says. You stick your tongue out at her. Then walk back into her hotel room

"Fine, let's just get over with it" you say. Emma gives you the test you go to the bathroom. You pee on the stick and set it on the counter- the test is facing down. You flush and wash your hands. You open the door to let Emma in "now we wait" you say in a shaky voice.

"Wait for what ?" Mark asks

"Nothing, you keep watching your football game" Emma says. Exactly then you hear a knock on the door, Mark gets up and opens

"Oh Chris hey man. Come in" you girls hear Mark say.

"Hey thanks. Is Y/n here ?" Chris asks

"Yeah she and Emma are doing something in he bathroom" Mark says

"Oh" Chris says "Y/n ?" Chris calls you name

"Yes ?" You answer. You quickly open a drawer and hide the test

"Hey, I've been looking all over for you" Chris come up to you giving you a soft kiss "my mom called and said the kids were back from the Zoo. Want to talk to them ?" He asks

"Yeah of course, but I'm a bit busy right now" you say

"Really, doing what ?" Chris asks innocently.

"I'm uhhh..... I'm-"

"I lost my earring, we are looking for it !" Emma quick answers. Chris looks suspiciously at you two "my grandma gave it to me before she passed away" Emma says. Her acting was bad.

"Yeah okay, you girls need help ?" He asks

"No it fine" Emma says

"How about you call your mom I'll join you once we find the earring" you say kissing Chris on the cheek. He nods and leaves. "That was a close one" you say

"Yeah" Emma says "Should we check ?" She asks

"Yeah, okay" you both nervously turn the test around
