Middle of the night
"Chris" you whisper "Chris !" You say a bit louder, you shank his arm
"Hmm" Chris hums "what's wrong ?" he asks
"I don't feel so good" you tell him.
Chris sits up while you still laid in bed.
"Why what's wrong" he asks still very sleepy
"I don't know" you say starting to panic
"Hey hey it's okay" Chris hugs you "what should we do ? I can take you to the emergency-room or maybe the baby's carving something or-"
"Chris...." You look at him horrified
"I'm bleeding" you say
"What !?" Chris asks
"I'm- I'm bleeding" you say
Chris quickly moves the blanket and sees the white bedsheets covered in blood. It was so much blood. "I lost are baby" you say in shock
"No no, maybe it something else, I'm taking you to the hospital right now !" Chris says trying his best to keep you and himself calm.
"I'm so sorry" you say to him "it's all my fault" your eyes get glossy.
"No it's not, your fine the babies fine, okay ? we- we I'm just need to get this checked, okay ?. Your fine"
"You promise ?" You ask
"I-" there's a long pause "I'm so sorry" Chris breaks down in tears he knew that you just had a miscarriage. "We should go to the hospital right now" Chris says calmly to you. Not trying to pressure you in anything.
You were in so much shock you didn't know what to do or what to say.
"I'll call and see if anyone can take care of the kids. You should get dressed" Chris get out of the bed. He hugs you tight
"I'm so sorry Chris" you cry on his chest "we were so excited"
"Shhh it's okay, it's okay" he comforts you "don't worry about the blood I'll clean it up" Chris says.
You nod
You go to the bathroom to clean up and get dressed.
Chris is on his phone looking for who he can call.
Chris dials in a number and calls "hey Scott" Chris says calling his trusty brother "sorry for calling this late but could you take care of the kids for the night, I think Y/n just had a miscarriage" Chris says his voice was very bubbly- you could tell he had been crying
"Oh my god I'm so sorry Chris. Of course I'll take care of them I'll be over in 10" he says
"Thanks Scott your the best" Chris says being very grateful
"Yeah anytime and again I'm so sorry about
Y/n how is she holding up ?" Scott asks
"I really don't know, she's in a lot of a shock right now" Chris say
They talk little more on the phone then end the call.
Chris goes down stairs to check on the kids. The twins were sleeping but Abigail was awake.
"Hey abi, why aren't you asleep ?" Chris asks
"You and Mommy talk a lot at night" Abigail says
"I'm sorry we woke you up" Chris sits down on her bed
"It's fine" she says "where are you going ?" She asks because Chris was in his shoes and jacket
"I'm taking Mommy to the hospital" Chris tells her
"Why ? Is mommy having the baby ?" Abigail asks exited
"No" Chris says "you should go to sleep uncle Scott will be here any minute" Chris kisses her then walks back up to the bedroom.
"Y/n" Chris walks in the bathroom seeing you crying "oh come here" he hugs you tight "I'm so sorry we don't deserve this" he says
"This is all my fault" you say "i should have told you-" Chris just shushes you
"Shhhh" he says calmly "Scott will be here any minute, we will go to the hospital and get you checked, maybe there's nothing wrong and are baby is completely fine, in that little belly sleeping" Chris try's his best to comfort you.
"Stop it Chris !....... Stop giving me false hope" you keep crying.
Chris was in pain seeing you like this. "It's a bad dream, when you wake up all this will be gone" Chris says "you have to wake up !" He says
"What ? What are you talking about ?" You say to him. Everything around you got blurry and wired you felt dizzy.
You heard the bell ring
"Scott's here" Chris ignores your question.
"No Chris really what's going on ?" You say "why is everyone telling me to a 'wake up' or calling my life 'a dream' because it's not, it's far from being perfect" You almost yell
"Come on lets take you to the hospital" Chris says wiping away his tears ignoring you again.
You get down stairs and check on Abigail while Chris goes down stairs to open the door for Scott.
"Hey Abi" you walk in her room
"Hi mommy" Abigail says she was clearly still awake "Mommy what's going on why are going to the hospital ?" Abigail asks worried.
"Your to young to understand baby" you tell her
"But you promise to come back, right ?" She says
"Of course" you say "why wouldn't I ?" You say
"because you will wake up and find out-" Chris walks in and interrupts her
"Y/n we should go" he says
"Wait find out what ?" You ask her
"Nothing" Abigail says "I love you mommy" Abigail kisses you.
"I love you too baby" you get out of bed and walk with Chris
"Y/n I'm so sorry" Scott hugs you
You don't say anything you just hug him back.
You here Liam crying in the nursery.
Every time you tried leaving for the hospital something kept stoping you
"I'll go check on him" you say to Chris
"Yeah sure what ever makes you feel better right know" Chris says understandingly.
You walk in the nursery.
One year old Liam couldn't sleep.
"Hey baby mommy's here, what's wrong" you hold him "shhh it's okay" you kiss him on the head.
You didn't want to let him go but you had to. You put him back in his crib. You kiss him and Ellie one last time before you leave for the hospital.
