"Quint, dude. Tama na nga 'yan." Pagsaway sa kaniya ni Connor at inagaw nito ang basong hawak niya.

"Connor, give it back." Walang kabuhay-buhay na sagot niya sa kaibigang inilingan naman siya.

"Pare, hindi mapapabalik niyang paglalasing mo si Yesh." Sambit naman nito kaya natahimik siya.

It's been a week since Yesh left and all that he'd been doing was drinking. Riley stopped him from looking into Yesh's location when they left Daemon's office. And he tried to look for her. But all traces of Yesh had either been removed or covered up dahil wala siyang mahalukay na kahit ano tungkol sa dalaga. Even Euclid. Euclid can't gather any information about Yesh's past.

"Who the fuck is helping Daemon do this?" He frustratedly asked.

"Probably Stane and Louis. Stane helped Yesh leave right? Stane is a Grand Duke my man, and Louis is an Arch Duke. You should know that those two are just trying to live a normal life, but they can ruin a man in more ways than one." Sagot ni Connor sa tanong niya kaya naman sumubsob siya sa lamesa.

"I'm an Earl, you're a Prince of a Dukedom and Riley's the Crown Prince. Can't we do something about this?" He asked. 

He introduced himself as the Earl one year ago. When he discovered that Ivy's uncle is the same person who ruined his family. And he crushed that person. He took every single thing away from him. From assets, up to his noble title.

"Even if Riley is a Crown Prince, he's just a Crown Prince of a kingdom. Riley is the only one who has royal blood. Nobleman lang tayong dalawa. Stane and Connor are cousins and are directly related to the imperial family. Kaya kahit mga Duke lang sila compared to Riley, in terms of connections, wala tayong laban pare. But of course, if we're talking about money, then Riley's the one on top. But what can money do if you can't really buy what you need right now? Although kung makukuha mo sa side mo si Pierre, baka makalaban tayo kahit papaano."

"And even if you say that I'm also a Prince, I'm only a Prince of a Dukedom." Natatawang sambit nito at nagpatuloy.

"Pierre is also a royal blood. But he's also Stane and Louis's cousin. Mahirap makuha si Pierre na kumampi sayo. Not only because he's their cousin, pero malaki ang utang na loob noon kay Daemon. You should know, na Daemon holds almost every single one of our friends. He helped most of us escape prison life. Kaya honestly, if Daemon asked them a favor, maguunahan ang mga 'yung kumilos." Mahabang pahayag ni Connor kaya napabuntong hininga siya.

"But I want Yesh back." He said as he stared at his friend.

"Then, why don't you try listening to what Daemon said?" Connor asked.

"No way. I won't lose to that fucking bastard." Kunot-noong sagot niya sa kaibigan at nagkibit balikat naman si Connor sa kaniya.

"Well, do you have a better plan? 'Cause right now, Daemon's controlling everything behind the scenes. Pwede niyang sabihin sa iyo anytime kung nasaan si Yesh. You already know that he's lying when he said that he doesn't know kung nasaan 'yung hinahanap mo." Sagot ni Connor at naisabunot na lang ni Quint sa buhok niya ang kamay niya.

"Fucking hell. Daemon that bastard." Nanggigigil na sambit niya at tinawanan naman siya ni Connor.

"That bastard has the person that you're looking for. And if you decided to hurt him, he would probably die while keeping his mouth shut. Torture won't work on that guy. Kaya makinig ka na lang sa kaniya. Payong kaibigan lang." Connor said as he tapped his shoulder kaya lalo siyang napasimangot.

"Pero maiba ako. What did Daemon say? You didn't really loved Ivy? Really?" Tanong ni Connor at tinanguan niya naman ang kaibigan.

"Yeah. Ewan ko. Alam mo namang parang alien 'yung si Daemon. Nagpapanggap lang 'yun na tahimik para magmukhang tao siya." Naiinis na sambit niya at humagalpak naman ng tawa si Connor.
