Chapter 56

"Hey." Napalingon si Quint nang may tumapik sa balikat niya. 

Nakita niya si Chase na nakatingin sa kaniya kaya naman napatingin din siya dito.

"Do you have a moment?" Tanong nito sa kaniya at tumango naman siya.

"Yeah, sure. May problema ba?" Tanong niya rito at tumingin naman si Chase kay Daemon.

"Pwede bang hiramin ko muna si Quint?" Tanong nito at tumango naman si Daemon.

"Sure. No problem." Anito at bumaling naman si Chase sa kaniya.

"Is it okay if we go to the garden to talk?" Tanong nito sa kaniya at tinanguan niya ito.

Chase led the way and Quint just followed him. Hindi niya alam kung bakit ba siya gustong kausapin ng kaibigan ni Yesh. May nagawa na naman ba siyang mali?

"Is there a problem?" Tanong ni Quint nang makarating sila ni Chase sa garden at umiling naman ito sa kaniya.

"No. Wala naman. I just, wanna talk to you about something." Sambit nito at umupo sa damuhan kaya naman umupo rin siya sa harapan nito.

"I... I have feelings for Yesh." Sambit nito kaya naman nanlaki ang mga mata niya at tumawa naman si Chase nang makita nito ang reaksyon niya.

"But don't worry. I don't force someone to stay with me. And, I know that Yesh would be happy with you. Wala naman sa plano kong manira ng relasyon. I just felt like I should tell you dahil baka hindi pa niya nababanggit sayo." Sambit nito at tumikhim.

"I know for a fact na hindi niya tinatago sayo. Baka nakaligtaan niya lang na sabihin, so don't doubt her." Nakangiting sambit nito kaya naman kumunot ang noo niya.

"Then, why did you tell me this?" Tanong niya kay Chase at nagkibit balikat naman ito.

"I just felt like you should know about it." Simpleng sagot nito at ngumiti.

"Take care of her dude. She deserves the world. She deserves all the good things. Don't make her cry. She experienced enough hardships already. I just want her to be happy. And if her happiness means being with you, I won't stop her. I want her to continue smiling. Kahit pa ganon kumilos 'yung si Yesh, she's a girl with a pure heart. Treat her right." Sambit nito habang nakatingin sa mga mata niya.

"I've loved her for years, you know?" Natatawang sambit nito at tumingala.

"Pero I didn't tell her. Nito ko lang sinabi sa kaniya. Because I felt like even if I tell her, wala akong chance. And I don't regret my decision. Because I get to keep her as my bestfriend. And I get to see her being happy."

"I don't know if I should tell you this, pero mahal na mahal ka ni Yesh kahit pa minsan parang hindi niya ipinapakita sayo. Maybe it's because of what happened between the two of you, na sa tingin ko naman, kahit papaano, iniwan na niya sa nakaraan niyo 'yun. Because she's starting to be sweet again right?" Sambit nito at tumango naman siya.

"Her eyes sparkled every time she says her name. Her smile is bigger than any smile that I've seen whenever she talks about you. Kaya please, don't hurt her. If she's gonna cry, sana masasayang luha ang mga iyon. Don't make her shed sad tears. She deserves to be happy."

"And, you should watch her. Whenever she's sad, she would mask her emotions. Ayaw niyang nalalaman ng ibang taong malungkot siya dahil para sa kaniya, she doesn't want to ruin anyone's mood or day because of her. She would usually just bottle up her emotions. Saka lang siya iimik kapag hindi na niya kaya."

"Also, if you want to talk to her habang nasa trabaho siya, just call her. Yesh doesn't usually respond to text messages. Minsan mabilis siyang magrereply sayo, but most of the times, she wouldn't lalo na kung wala naman siyang sasabihin. The more that you two get comfortable with each other, you'll see that side of her. But that doesn't mean that you're not important to her, it's just, it's a part of her."
