TWO YEARS LATER

Quint had this cold and distant aura as he walked inside the hall. Kasalukuyang nasa birthday party siya ng asawa ng isa sa mga kaibigan niya. Rumi, Flynn's wife, is celebrating her birthday and he's not a fan of parties.

Napakaraming tao at ang mga kaibigan niya naman ay masasayang nagcecelebrate kasama ang mga girlfriend at asawa nila.

Quint turned his head when someone placed his arm on his shoulders. Masamang tingin ang ibinigay niya kay Riley na mukhang bored din habang nakatitig ito sa mga kaibigan nilang masayang nagpaparty.

"Best friend, halos lahat sila may girlfriend na o kasal na. Tayo kaya kailan?" Riley asked while he removed his friend's arm on his shoulder.

"Wala na akong planong mag-asawa. Ikaw? After your loss? May plano ka pa palang mag-girlfriend?" He asked and Riley shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know." Maiksing sagot nito kaya naman hindi na niya pinansin ang kaibigan at nagtungo na lang sa bar area ng party.

He busied himself with alcohol when a woman suddenly sat on the sit beside him.

"You wouldn't mind, would you?" The woman asked and he just shrugged.

Quint can smell lavender. He can't help himself but to sneak a peak and he saw the woman beside him, drinking while having a lit up cigarette. She then turned her head and their eyes met.

"Curious?" She asked as she giggled.

"I'm Wylter Yesh Gray, kaibigan ko sina Rumi at Light and I don't know anyone aside from them and their husbands. I'm a psychologist and will soon become a lawyer. I don't believe in religion and stuffs. That basically sums my whole being up. Mr tattooed guy, care to let me know who you are?" Dire-diretsong pahayag nito kaya naman kumunot ang noo niya pero ipinakilala niya ang sarili niya.

"Quint." He said and the woman beside her let out a small laugh, but what she said next, made him stunned.

"Your eyes were wondering somewhere far from here. Your actions looked like you are telling the people here to not meddle with your business but you haven't acted well enough. There's still some emotion left in your eyes, like you were lost and sad." Anito at nang mapansin nito na natigilan siya ay ngumiti ito at ininom ang cocktail na nasa baso nito.

"Don't worry. Mukha namang lahat sila naloloko mo. I'll keep your secret. Bye Q." She said and before Quint could even answer her back, nawala na ito sa paningin niya.

Who the heck is that psychic woman?

Nangalumbaba si Yesh sa opisina niya habang nanonood ng videos sa cellphone niya. Natapos na niya ang trabaho niya at wala na naman siyang ibang gagawin kung hindi ang mag-intay kung may bago bang pasyenteng darating. Katatapos lamang ng semester niya sa law school kaya naman hindi siya masyadong busy.

She was about to stand up when the door of her office suddenly opened and a familiar man walked in.

"Oh, hi Q. Hindi ko alam kung paano mo nalaman na dito mo ako mahahanap pero what brings you here? Papatingin ka?" She esked as her eyes shone in excitement.

He's does not look like someone na magpapa-assess sa kaniya kaya naman pabiro niyang sinabi ito.

"No. I'm actually quite bored and when I thought of what good things should I do, you entered my mind kaya hinanap kita." His tone was flat which made her raise an eyebrow.
