Kathir got up. The dream made him very uneasy. It was already morning. His heads hurt because of the dream.

Kathir goes to his mother, Lakshmi amma who is waiting for him at the breakfast table

Kathir  : Good morning, maa.

Lak amma : Good morning pa. Nala thoogniya?

Lak amma asked while caressing his head softly.

Kathir nodded his head and felt comfortable at her words. He had break fast thinking about her words.

Kathiravan Pandian's father, Mr. Pandian died of heart attack when he was only 5 years old. With his death, Kathir and his mother had to go through many hardships. Kathir and his mother were financially dependent on his father who remained abroad most of the time on business. After his death, their company is at the verge of bankcrupt and few of the fellow partners cheated money due to Pandian's death. When things were looking bleak, Kathir's uncle Mr.Arunachalam came to their aid. He overtook the company and also took care of Kathir and Lakshmi amma. He was very keen on Kathir's education and ensured that he completed it along with the Master's degree in London. Arunachalam didn't even got nmarried for Kathir's sake.

On completing his education, Kathir started to took over his business and eventually became one of the most respected billionaires in India. He and his mother lived in his huge mansion in Chennai. Even though he achieved a lot, the traumatic past always makes him week. He won't discuss this much with anybody.

This had made him very afraid of keeping anyone too close to him, as he felt that they would leave him. Even though he hardly saw his father, he really loved him. Whenever, Pandian was in town, he would take his entire family out to the cinemas and for dinners. He was also afraid of losing mom, his only family. All these events in life had made him really insecure.

However, since Kathir had achieved so much in such less amount of time he had also become very proud and egoistic. He wouldn't like to be disrespected in any manner.Lakshmi amma, was aware of this about Him. She prayed to God daily, asking for Kathir to become a better person.
