Kathir has been dreaming about Mullai every night even in day sometimes. His thoughts were fully occupied by her. His dreams are always about making love to her. However Kathir maintained his dignity in reality with Mullai. He never even tried to touch her. He kept his distance. Still his thoughts and dreams were occupied by her. He doesn't realise his feelings still. But Lakshmi amma could find these changes in him.

Kathir couldn't keep a straight face. He knew that it was no use hiding anything from Lak amma. He decided to tell her about Mullai.

She asked him with a mischievous smile.
Kathir was tongue-tied at this question. He obviously couldn't tell her what exactly he was thinking. Lak amma's question had brought back memories of his dream.

Kathir : ah.. ahem.. amma.. ava romba hard working and sincere. Ava work la correct ah mudichiruva.. Ava work la ena romba impress panita adhan ma.. vera onnum ila.. romba talanted ana ponnu ma.

Lak amma knew there was something more to this. Kathir had never spoken about his employees like this. She quizzed him further.

Kathir was slightly embarrassed. Lak Amma's questions had put him in a fix. He could not dodge her questions anymore. He had to tell her.

Lak amma smiled on hearing what Kathir had to say about Mullai. She had never seen Him so deeply impressed and smitten by anyone. He had never even praised Venba in front of her.

Lak amma : Unaku Mullai ah pudichirka pa??

Kathir was stumped that lak amma had asked him this question so directly. Kathir kept wondering whether he liked her or not. He surely did hate her in the beginning but since the past few weeks, he had been feeling differently about her. He did not hate her as much. He had tried convincing himself and his mind to continue hating her, but his heart won over his mind. She had effortlessly impressed him with her skills, nature, charm and beauty. No matter how much he tried to pull her down, she always bounced back successfully and with more enthusiasm. She had left him speechless with her perseverance and endurance.
