29. Together we rise in love

"Bas enough! Ab agar kisi ne bhi Karan ke khilaaf ek aur word bola toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga, trust me!" Monami yelled while standing in front of Karan as if protecting him from all the accusations which the recruits were putting on him since the moment they got to know that he had shot her unintentionally though.

"Lekin monami.. " Sumanji was interrupted by Monami's hard glare.

"I am not finished yet!" She said quite coldly and when Sumanji didn't spoke back she continued.

"Just because Karan kucch keh nahi raha hai, iska matlab yeh nahi ki aap sab ko bakwaas karne ka license mil gaya hai! Aur rahi baat goli ki toh is sab mei agar kisi ki galti hai toh woh meri hai! Mai zabardasti gayi thi uske room mei jab use nightmare aaraha tha. Aur Karan ne fire intentionally nahi kiya tha, woh nightmares se utha tha aur agar uski jagah koi aur bhi hota na toh yahi karta. Isliye ab mujhe is sab ke baare mei koi discussion nahi chahiye! " She explained.

"Lekin monu.. " Sid was too interrupted by her.

"Shut up Sid! Tujhe toh sab pata hai na, fir bhi? Not fair bro! Not fair! " She walked away while limping a bit.

While everyone else dispersed, Karan stood stunned at her outburst and her level of trust invested in him. He felt something wierd.

A good kind of wierd, he concluded before heading towards where she went to get his answers.

"Woh sab kya tha Rani Saaheba? Aap mujhe kabse defend karne lag gayi specially tab jab maine... " He struggled to let the words out of his mouth.

"Haa pura bolo! " She dared him to complete while standing opposite to him.

He just looked away guiltily.

"Shakal dekho apni, saaf saaf pata chal raha hai ki andar hi andar kitna guilty feel kar rahe ho aur upar se woh sab tumhe sunaaye jaa rahe the. Tum bhale hi woh sab tolerate kar rahe the lekin mujhse woh bilkul dekha nahi gaya.. " Her words were interrupted by him.

"Kyu? " He asked innocently.

"Huh? " She uttered.

"Kyu dekha nahi gaya Rani Saaheba? " He asked.

"Kyuki mai tumse... " She almost blurted out before realising what she was saying.

"Haa tum mujhse kya? " He asked.

"Kucch nahi. Yeh baat kisi aur din lekin abhi meri baat tum dhyaan se suno, tumne mujhe intentionally shoot nahi kiya toh isliye apne aap ke saath strict hona band karo! " She told him.

"Tumhaare aisa kehne se sach nahi badal jaayega! Sach toh yahi hai na ki maine tumhe... " He said as he felt a pang of guilt in his chest.

"Tum aur mai, ham dono yeh jaante hai ki jo tum keh rahe ho woh sirf aadha sach hai isliye chup chaap meri baat maano aur guilty feel karna band karo! " She almost ordered him.

"Nahi toh? " He dared her.

"Nahi toh.. Uhh...woh..mai... " She stuttered as he stood too close to her.

"Thank you! " He said softly after a moment while smiling at her awkwardness.

"Kis liye? " She asked confusingly looking at him.

"Aaj mujhe defend karne ke liye aur abhi mujhe better feel karaane ke liye! " He added to which she shyly smiled while looking down. He just continued to look at her amused at her antics.
