"Alright y/n I need you to talk to Loki so that we can find out his plan" Fury says
"ok are you sure I should do it and not Nat?" I ask he smiles making Maria laugh
"We think Loki has some weird obsession with you" She said I scrunch my face up
"no" I say making them laugh
"Just get in talk then leave, don't get distracted and don't let him talk you into anything ok?" Fury said I nod
"ok and Maria can you make sure PHASE 2 is secure?" Fury orders she nods
"right well get going" He says we all walk out and I walk over to where Loki is being kept.
I walk in silently watching the God pace back in forth in his cell. He freezes and looks at me
"There is not many people that can sneak up on me Kitten" he says
"but you'd figure I'd come?" I say he shakes his head
"I assumed they would send the assassins.. Black Widow" he says
"but I prefer you being here pet" he continues I roll my eyes
"What did you do to Agent Barton?" I ask sternly he smirks fully facing me now
"I'd like to say I expanded his mind"
"And once you've won. One your king of the mountain. What happens to his mind?"
"Aw you care for the archer, kitten"
"he is like my brother of course I care"
"yes your agent family, he told me. Nick and Phil represent the father-daughter bond you never had, your sister Maria although you were always forgotten about. Abused by your father while your sister received his love and care" Loki says I continue to listen to him talk thinking he knows everything....whilst trying not to flinch at the painful memories he is bringing up
"you find a sister-like bond with Natasha, the assassin who you look up to. I know everything pet"
"your boyfriend who acts distant until he needs or wants something" He continues making me more and more angry.
"The thing about you Kitten. You want to be someone who you are not, you want to be better you want to prove to everyone they are wrong about you. But the unfortunate thing is they are right.... your a little girl who is incapable of doing the heroes job" he says being unprepared for this, I stare at him absently as I think about his words.
"I won't touch Barton. Not until I make him hurt your family slowly. Intimately whilst you watch knowing you are unable to stop him. And once he wakes just long enough to see his work, your pain and when he screams. I will split his skull! And you my sweet kitten will be alone" He spits
finally being unable to handle listening to him I turn around walking away from him disgusted.
"your a monster" I say quietly
"no you brought the monster" he says revealing his plan. I turn back around poised and serious. Although I am trying so hard not to let tears fall
"so, Banner that's your play" I say he looks at me shocked that I am not a crying mess that he expected I would be. I grin at his expression
"w-hat?" he staggers confused. I look away from him and press on my earpiece
"Loki means to unleash the hulk. Keep Banner in the lab. I am on my way send Thor and Nat as well" I say, looking back at Loki I smile
"Thank you for your cooperation" I turn and leave the room to be greeted by Maria, Phil and Nat.
"Hi? did you not get my message Nat we need to go to the LAB now!" I say Maria just pulls me in for a hug. I am shocked but I hug her back
"y/n I didn't know he did that to you, I am so sorry" she says I smile sadly and pull away
"Its ok that was years ago, now lets go deal with the men in the lab" I say not wanting to talk about the topic. I then start pulling Nat with me as we walk toward the Lab, we run into Thor as well who follows us.
