'y/n how are you feeling?' Maria says on a separate connection only I can hear
I am about to enter the suit, but I respond to her anyway
'Ria I feel amazing Loki gave me this healing potion from Asgard so now I feel 100% normal there is not even a scratch from where he impaled me' I say excitedly
'y/n why did you drink it, it could have been poisoned' Maria says
'Thor gave me the all clear and besides did you not hear me I feel great'
'y/n you had us all scared to death' Phil says joining the conversation
'you can't get rid of me that easily. Anyway I saved your life Phil. I would go through that again to save your life or anyone's" I say
'well hopefully that won't happen' Maria says. I roll my eyes
'ok well I am going to help out in his fight so bye' I say but Coulson stops me
'y/n don't get involved, the avengers need this so they can become a team. And we don't want you to get hurt we don't know the side effects of the potion' He says
'Fine! but Phil they don't know anything about these aliens I do' I argue
'then tell them how to defeat them' he says. yeah I am going to ask them to fly through the portal and blow up the mothership. PHIL THAT IS NOT SMART.
'fine just let me know of everything happening at SHIELD. while I sit by and watch' I lie I am for sure getting involved.
'just promise us you won't die or get yourself killed again' Maria says
'I promise'
"ok J lets see how this suit works" I say seeing if I can control it via my monitor.
"Ms Hill it would be much easier if you just controlled the suit from inside it" Jarvis says
"your right but that means I would be flying toward an alien ship, probably almost dying in the process..." I give myself a nod
"ok well just don't tell Ria, I am probably going to break my promise"
"Ms L/n if you get Mr Stark to help you, or give you a better suit I am sure you will not be breaking your promise" Jarvis replies. I pause thinking over his suggestion
"yeah no, but Jarvis open up the suit" I order the AI
"Right away Ms"
'Steve what is your view on the ground what is happening?' I ask
'ok Thor what is the story upstairs' Steve asks the God
"the Power surrounding the cube is impenetrable" I hear Thor's voice through Steve's earpiece
'Thor is right we got to deal with these guys' Tony says
'well no shit sherlock' I say making Clint and Nat chuckle
'ok how do we do this then Einstein' He argues back
'As a team' Cap says before I can say anything
"I have unfinished business with Loki" Thor says making me scoff
'yeah get in line' Clint says
'you both get in line, man nearly killed me' I try to joke. Except they all go quiet. Suddenly I hear a motorbike arrive?
'is that a motorbike?' I ask. before looking on the footage from Ironman's suit. I see Bruce arriving
"So this all seems horrible" he says. I tune out pulling up all possible ways to solve this issue with Jarvis helping me
"great so this is the only way, ok Y/n you can do this, you will save New York, sure you might die. Sure the lack of oxygen may kill you, sure your family back at SHIELD will kill you even if you get back for doing this. Not to mention I will die alone, which is fun" I mutter massaging my head with my palms
"For the record I will be with you the whole time Ms, and plus Mr Stark can help you if you just let me tell him" Jarvis says trying to reassure me
"Hell no we need them to keep killing the aliens and ensuring everyone is safe. I will do this. Plus knowing him if he knows he will do it himself and get himself killed."
ROOARRRRR
I look out the window and see Bruce turning into hulk.
"wow, remind me never make him angry" I chuckle. I walk back over to the open ironman suit and allow it to close around me
"Ms just wait a moment for me to adjust the system to you" Jarvis says I stay silent allowing the suit to figure itself out.
"ok Jarvis how do I work this thing?"

Third person POV
Whilst y/n tries to learn the ways of the suit, the avengers disperse to tackle the growing army. Thor uses his lightening to strike the portal and the army that flies out of it. Clint helps take care of the chitauri flying behind Tony.
Nat is using everything she has to defend herself. Getting exhausted she expresses her concern with Cap, before getting on one of the Chitauri's flying vehicles and heading toward Selvig on top of Stark Tower.
Fury is talking with the council to talk them out of sending a missile
"y/n no way am I letting that happen" Maria says in her earpiece making Fury look at her confused
"what does she want?" He asks ending the call with the council
"she wants us to send the missile but to the portal?" Maria says
"Do as she says"
"Sir one of the jets is already leaving with the missile but it will destroy New York" Coulson says.
"well sort that out and get y/n on the line" Fury says
