Zachary: "Pst..! Hey, Sol?"

Solomon, half asleep: "...Hm...?"

Zachary: "Sorry to wake you up... you started kicking a lot and you were scratching up my legs..."

Solomon: "Oh, sorry about that... happens sometimes..."

Zachary: "I get it.... you, uh... mind if I ask a question?"

Solomon: "Shoot. Go on."

Zachary: "Do you.. know what... I guess... what's going on with Red? Why he is the way he is...?"

Solomon: "uh... not really? Nobody really does, Red doesn't dwell on it...."

Zachary: "It's been on my mind a lot lately... I'm kinda worried about him... he keeps hurting himself... was it something we possibly did?"

Solomon: "Nah... probably not... happens back home, too... I guess it's either a not so healthy way of him relieving stress or anger... or maybe some other reason... I doubt you'd get an answer out of him if you were to ask."

Zachary: "Has Red always been kinda angry and frustrated around others? And just... really quiet?"

Solomon: "Well, uh... most of us didn't question it too much since we assumed he was shy and always tired when we were younger... he'd always kinda been that way, and we sorta half accepted it, I guess?"

Zachary: "....huh."

Zachary notices Red's tail sticking out from under the bed.

Zachary: "Do you ever wonder if Red ever gets cold under there? He doesn't seem to like the cold to much..."

Solomon: "I know he does get cold, but knowing Red, he'd rather freeze then admit to being cold... He looks kinda lonely sometimes..."

Zachary slowly gets out of bed and carefully pulls Red out from underneath, before setting him down near Solomon.

Zachary: "Christ... he's freezing... it's not even that cold under the bed... how is he even that cold...?!"

Solomon shrugs.

Zachary stares at Red for a while... Red is barely moving.

Zachary: "Does Red usually look... dead in in sleep?"

Solomon: "Yeah... it's pretty much normal for him..."

Zachary: "...he's been picking at the bites on his arms... some of the bandages are gone..."

Solomon: "Zach, I, uh... think both of us gotta get some sleep..."

Zachary: "Oh, yeah..... right..."

Zachary falls asleep a while later, as do Solomon... shortly after, Red awakens, glancing around for a moment. He considered going back under the bed... but it was more comfortable where he was. He scoots over to rest his head against Zachary's arm, before dozing off again.
