Chapter 5

I was sat down on the rooftop jinx and i always used to come. The wind blowing gently against me as i looked down at the earring.

I suddenly heard rustling behind me but didn't react. I put my earring back on before A rose slowly slid next to me as she sat down next to me.

"I thought I told you to not go out..." I whispered.

"I know, I'm sorry." She whispered back.

I took the rose and observed it.

"Where'd you get it?"

"I stole it..." She said shyly.

My eyes slightly widened as i came back to the rose.

She stole it ... Huh... Familiar.

I chuckled and broke off the stem. I turned to her and put it in her hair. Her eyes widened as she looked at me.

"I'm sorry for my outburst. I shouldn't have reacted that way." I said putting a lock of her hair behind her ear.

I observed her face for a few seconds before turning back to my stem.

"Where are the torns...?" I asked.

"Oh ... I ... Removed them."

I looked down at her bloodied hands and sighed.

"Give me your hands."

She gently gave her hands. I cut myself in front of her.

"Oh my god! What are you-"

"Shut up or I'll kiss you." I said still concentrated on applying my blood on her wounds.

I blushed at her remark. Next thing I knew my hands were healed.

"How'd you do that...?"

"Eh ... You know ... I'm pretty good with my hands from what I've heard..." She said with a smirk.

We laughed and chatted for a bit.

A music suddenly started playing. A melancholic piano piece...

Achlys sighed and got up. She extended her hand towards me. I took it and was pulled in her arms.

Her body's so warm...

"So ... Did we come here often?"

She softly nodded as her other hand wrapped Itself around my waist.

"I've kissed your lips a thousand times on this rooftop..."

I blushed as i watched her eyes go down to my lips and back up to my eyes. She was about to say something when she suddenly picked me up in her arms.

"What are you doing?!" I asked surprised as i held onto her to not fall.

"You're shivering, so I'm taking you home."

"Wait wha-"

She suddenly jumped off the building as i screamed my lungs out.

"You can open your eyes now."

I slowly opened my eyes to find her looking back up at the building in a worried look.

I was going to ask her what was wrong but she got inside of the house before I could talk. She gently put me down on the bed,leaving me her jacket.

"Goodnight." She said coldly before closing the door.
