I looked down at Vala hugging my waist crying hysterically.

Her clothes were torn and she had blood splatters on her.

"Vala ... Are you okay...?"

"They killed him... In front of me... I escaped before they could get to me."

I crouched down and shook her shoulders.

"Vala, did you see who did it?!"

She continued crying.

"VALA!"

"NO!"

I looked down and back at her.

"Were you followed?!"

She didn't answer as a group of men arrived on the rooftop.

"Viktor..."

I looked at them dragging an unconscious Viktor. I let go of her and ran over to Viktor.

"Viktor! What happened to you?!"

The crying behind me sudden stopped.

"Hmpf... You really choose that man over me?" Said Vala's voice.

"What?"

I looked back to find Vala sighing and wiping her tears away.

"There you go boss."

"Hm, thank you." She said taking the tissue in her hand from the men who had hurt Viktor.

I looked at her in shock.

"Vala... What the hell is this about... If this is some sick joke of yours... It's not funny."

I was suddenly hit and restrained by 6 men.

She chuckled and crouched in front of me. She caressed my hair out of my face before grabbing it and forcing me to look at her.

"We're finally going to go on that date..."

I spat in her face.

"Never."

"Huh... Just like your brother was supposed to never die ...?"

My eyes widened in shock. She began laughing at me.

"What? Are you surprised... Or are you impressed?"

She ... Killed him.

"You know i was surprised by how long he survived without his heart ..." She said licking off my spit from her fingers.

She once again took my face in her grip.

"So ... Are we going to do this the easy way?"

I chuckled.

"Who do you take me for?!" I responded.

She smirked as she stood up.

"I'll give you a choice. Either you come with me and i leave Zaun peacefully or ..."

She suddenly picked up something from the boxes behind her.

My eyes widened at the substance.

"... I'll poison your city with Shimmer..." She continued playing with it, a smirk on her face.

I stood there frozen shocked at this new revelation.

How...

... I destroyed every last bit of it...

"Hm, are you asking yourself how i found this ...?"

She smirked and walked over to Viktor.

"Of course i didn't find it, Elysia did ... But apparently... Your little partner here had kept a single dose of this substance... Why? I wouldn't know... All i know is that he gave it to your brother as a guardian... Little did he know what would come..." she said kicking Viktor.

Viktor and Elysia betrayed me...?
