Chapter 14

~~~~Achlys: Present day

"Achlys! Are we almost thereeeee?!"

"Colt, Be patient." I said bringing him breakfast.

Piltover had now been burned down for five days, people will probably start to notice their inactivity and will investigate.

I put down his plate of cereals and looked at him eating his food like an animal who hadn't been fed for ages.

This 7 year old child eats more than Viktor and i together...

He looked back up at me, his mouth full of cereal and milk dripping down his chin, a smile on his face.

Children are terrifying... Ugh... that's absolutely disgusting.

I looked away and walked onto the deck, watching the horizon.

We'll soon arrive.

A small hand suddenly grabbed onto me.

"Achlys?"

I looked down at him.

"Yes?" I responded.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"It's a surprise."

"Ugh i hate surprises! Are we almost there then?"

I shook my head yes.

"I would say about half an hour left."

He then proceeded to ask me every five minutes if we were arrived yet. I sighed as he asked me once again.

"Yes! We're here." I said irritated, preparing to walk off the boat.

The child blocked my way to take my hand. I complied and continued walking with him. His eyes Widened at the extensive field of flowers in front of him and let go of my hand to run after butterflies.

He's late...

I turned back again at Colt to see him with a smile and laughing at the butterflies on the flowers.

*Clink*

"Electa, i have been waiting for you."

I turned around around to face him.

"Mage." I said greeting him.

"Are you finally joining us?" He asked.

I looked down and back up at him chuckling.

"Not yet I'm afraid."

Even faceless, i could feel him observing me.

"Would you want my help?" He asked.

I shook my head no.

"This is my war. I will fight it alone Magnus-"

"Achlys...? Who's that...?" Asked Colt hiding behind me.

Magnus looked down at the child.

"Is ...this... why you're here?"

"I need you to take him into your dimension." I said looking at him confident.

"Why? I thought you wanted to destroy everything."

I stayed silent before responding after a few minutes.

"... He fought a fair fight against me, he gained the right to survive in my eyes."

"This child fought you...?" He asked clearly not convinced.

"Magnus, you should know better than to question your Electa." I said looking at him sternly.

He chuckled at me in an amused tone.

"Looks like you haven't lost your witt, good. Farewell, i accept."

I looked back down at Colt before crouching before him.

"Don't worry Colt, Magnus is going to take you somewhere really cool."

"He looks scary..." He whispered.

I ruffled his hair.

"I promise he's very nice. You're gonna be brave."

Colt finally trusted Magnus and took his hand. His eyes widened in amazement as the mage activated runes.

Magnus looked at me.

"I'll be watching Electa, Don't fill that tomb you've dug for yourself just yet."

I nodded at him as they disappeared in a flash of light and a strong wind blowing my hair back.
