The evening air brushed past your (skin color) skin as it went through from Camilo's bedroom window.

It was almost time for dinner but the passed out teen haven't woke up yet and his mother asked if you could stay so you really can't go anywhere except wait for him.

You let out a sigh as you ran a hand on his curly hair, almost immediately- the teen leaned into your touch.

You couldn't help but smile at his action, you trailed your hand down to his freckled cheek, stroking gently whilst admiring his peaceful look.

"Oh, mi amor.." A shaky sigh left your lips.

You knew that Dolores probably heard what you said but teasing the shit out of people is your specialty.

There's a possibility that Dolores is snitching on you right and you only laughed at the thought.

You suddenly remembered the time when you started feeling weird with your best friend's brother.

"Come on! It's not that bad, you'll just have dinner with us. With me. Your favorite Madrigal!" Dolores stated, doing her best to persuade you again.

It's been a while since you had dinner with them and Dolores did not like that.

Just like every persuasion, you smiled and shook your head. "Thank you for the invitation but I have to refuse."

"I- why are you so stubborn?" Dolores squeaked, "Fine! I'll just ask Tia (M/n) instead."

You watched Dolores walk away with amusement dancing in your (eyecolor) eyes and giggled.

You'll have to agree either way, you did miss Tia Julieta's Arepa but of course, you want Dolores to ask your mother for permission, that way. Your mom wouldn't be able to say no.

You went back to reading and enjoyed the short peace you had.

"I-.. Uh, hola?" You placed the book down on your lap and looked up at the owner of the voice.

You raised a brow when you saw your best friend's brother standing in front of you.

Posture rigid, visibly tensed up, forehead sweating and lips shaking.

You could only assume that he's nervous around you, but you were sure that you didn't do anything bad to him.. Yet.

You scoot aside so Camilo would be able to sit beside you, patting the seat, the boy silently thanked you and took the chance to sit beside you.

You went back to reading, not wanting to scare the younger Madrigal any further.

"I.. I want you to have this." You perked up when you heard the timid yet determined voice of Camilo which made you look at him.

Your eyes landed on the sunflowers in his hand, you can see a note attached to it with (color) ribbon tied around the stem to keep the sunflowers together.

Your heart almost leaped out of your chest when you took it, gingerly caressing the beautiful yellow petals and smiling at him.

"Thank you." You mused and couldn't help but giggle when he took a run after your statement.

He ran away from you like his life depends on it

You watched his running away figure until he was out of sight before looking down at the flowers that the teen gave you.

"N/n!" An excited voice of Dolores made you jump on your seat.

You shot her a puzzled look, "Your mom agreed for you to come over! Don't be late!"

After that, she ran away as well.

You wandered if it's normal for Madrigals to run away from you but nonetheless, you were happy meeting the two of them.

Camilo shift on his bed slightly which made you quickly glanced at him.

You smiled at him, recalling the small pieces of the event that day, he really is kind and thoughtful for his own good.

You glanced down at your hand that is still on his hair and you made sure that you get every detail of his adorable face before finally pulling away.

When the warm hand was gone on Camilo's skin, he whined in his sleep and tried to reach out for you. You know that he's just gonna get embarrassed once he woke up and you don't want to add more to his embarrassment.

You stood up and walked towards the nearest chair, your eyes caught the sight of your favorite book on the table beside it.

"Eh, might as well read while I'm waiting." You mumbled to no one and sat down on the chair before grasping the book.

You quickly flipped the pages, you already finished reading the whole book but since it's your favorite, you can't get enough of it.

You stopped on a certain page and sigh, starting to read.

Just before you could finish the first paragraph, you heard an audible gasp coming from Camilo's bed.

You looked up, your eyes meeting his hazel ones.

You waved awkwardly because you didn't think of what you would do after all that.

"Good evening, it's almost time for dinner." You mumbled, hopefully loud enough for him to hear.

Camilo buried his face on his poncho, wishing that it was all a dream because he can feel the heat of embarrassment crept up to his face once again.

You merely laugh at his action, standing up and walking over to his bed.

"Are you okay? You passed out for a long—"

"I'm good! S-si! I'm feeling good!" Camilo cut you off, quickly stumbling on his words.

You only chuckled and ruffled his hair, your touch making him stiffened on his bed.

"It's dinnertime, we should head back down or else we wouldn't be able to eat." You mused and started walking towards his door.

You grabbed the doorknob and twist it, opening the glowing wooden door of his bedroom.

"By the way." Your voice snapped him out of his inner turmoil.

He looked at you, a playful smile upon your lips. The smile that he love so much.

"You look so cute while sleeping, try not passing out next time so we'll have a proper conversation okay?" You said with a laugh on the end of your sentence before walking out of his room, shutting the door behind you.

Camilo's mouth was left agape, cheeks getting warmer as he screamed on his pillow.

Did you just said that? To him out of all people?

She's gonna kill me! Camilo screamed on his pillow again. She'll really kill me one day!
