It was after Christmas break and it was now extremely clear who Hailey's crush was. Therefore Remus was going to do something in order to stop the feelings the girl had for him - he was a werewolf, he was dangerous and unworthy of the love she has for him.
He stood from his seat in the Great Hall and walked up to the headmaster, after receiving permission he moved the lectern and conjured a mic before he began to sing - forgoing an introduction.
