I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to get a bottle of water. I sleepily got into the elevator and pressed the first floor button.

When I made it downstairs, I saw that the kitchen light was already on and was confused. I walked further.

At the table, sat Riot with a glass and bottle of whiskey as he held his head in his hands.

"Riot?" I called.
He looked up at me. "Yea?" he stretched and tried to act casual.
"What're you doin'? It's 3am." I asked and walked to the fridge.
"Nothin'. Just sittin' here."

"I heard you guys have a busy day tomorrow. Shouldn't you be resting?" I went over to the table as I opened my water.
He didn't answer. I sat across from him.

"What's up?" I wondered. He looked like something was eating away at him.
He looked up from his glass at me.

We just stared before he poured himself another glass then drank it all.

"Are you alright? What's happening right now?" I asked in concern.
"I'm fine."
"You don't look fine. Did B say somethin'?"
"Nah."
"Psycho?"
"No."
"Megan?"
He sighed.
"So Megan did say something?"
"No, Megan didn't say anything. I'm just tired of hearin' that name."
I scoffed. "Well, she's your girlfriend."

He sat back and just toyed with his glass.

"Is that why you're here? You don't want her to be your girlfriend?" I posed.

He looked at me again.
"No, I don't want her to be my girlfriend."

"THEN BREAK UP WITH HER! This relationship wasn't even real until you felt the need to prove B wrong. What's she gonna do? Flip you off? Who cares?!"
"I'm not breakin' up with her either."
I rolled my eyes. "You make no sense."

He looked back at his glass.

"Are you gonna keep this goin' until you just marry her?" I wondered and sipped my water again.

He looked at me.
Then poured more into his glass.
"That depends."
"On what?"
He didn't answer.
"Stop actin' so funny." I told him.
"I'm not."
"Yes, you are."
"No, I'm not."
"You literally are."
"I literally ain't."
I stared at him.
He stared back.

"I like your eyes." he claimed.
"Huh?"
"Your eyes. They're pretty. Like the shape or whatever."
I just looked at him.

"Don't worry about it." He got up and finished his glass before leaving the kitchen.

I just sat there in confusion.

I knocked on Jack's door to his studio.

It was warmer outside than the last time but still cold nonetheless.

The door opened and I was yanked inside before lips crashed onto mine.
I giggled as I kissed him back and he shut the door.

"I missed you." he stated.
"It hasn't even been 24 hours." I snickered.
"So?"
I kissed him again. "I missed you too."
"Delicious. Wow. Absolutely phenomenal."
I giggled at him.

"Are you ready to start?" he asked and headed over to his painting equipment.
"Actually...I had a different idea for today." I said and got on my phone.
"And that is?"

I placed it on his speaker and ballroom music began to play.

I heard him laugh fondly.

"Come on. You know what time it is." I stated as I took off my coat.
"You're serious?"
"As a heart attack." I walked over to him and took both of his hands in mine then pulled him to the open and clean area of the room.
"Leila, I mean it when I say I am incredibly clumsy." he stated.
"That's okay. Practice makes perfect. You walk pretty well."
"I ran into a pole earlier on my way to a deli."
I snorted and tried not to laugh.
"That's not funny, I felt that bruise for at least thirty seconds. Mostly to my ego."
I laughed again. "Be serious!"
"I am being serious, it hurt!" he laughed.

I took his right arm and placed it around my waist.

"I like where this is going." he stated and I snickered.
I put my left hand onto his shoulder. Then made us hold the opposing hands outstretched.

"We're gonna start easy, okay?"
"Well, I would hope so."
"I want you to just walk in a square formation, okay?"
He stared at me.
"You speak brilliantly but I'm beginning to think you aren't all there." I snickered.
He looked offended but like he was trying not to laugh. I kissed his cheek then let him go.
I made him hold his arms in the same position.

"Okay, so I don't think it matters what foot you lead with, so long as it's one leading the other in whichever direction."
"Okay..."
"And you move in a counterclockwise rotation."
He just stood there.
"Do I need to tell you what counterclockwise is?" I snickered.
"No. You want me to do that right now?"
"Unless later works better for you." I joked.
He snickered.

I watched him take one step forward with his right foot and the left followed. Then the left foot took a step to the left and the right followed. His left foot led back then his right foot led to the right. He came back up with his right.

"Leila, this feels ridiculous." he claimed.
I put his arm back around me and his hand in mine.
"Does it?" I asked.
"Well not anymore."
I snickered. "Do what you did the last time and I'll follow you."
"Okay."
"Which foot do you plan on leading with?"
"Right."

We began and I followed his steps.

"See? It's not that bad, right?" I asked him.
"I suppose it's alright."
"You're doing pretty well." I stated as we finished the first square and started a new one.
"Yea, this part is pretty ea-..."

As soon as he said that he stepped poorly on the step back and fell backwards, pulling me on top of him.

He groaned in pain and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine I just can't feel my spine." he laughed and I laughed with him.

He looked at me and I looked at him.
I couldn't help it and leaned in to lock our lips together. He kissed me back and his hands went to my waist.
I adjusted my legs so that I straddled his lap as he laid with one knee up and the other leg outstretched.

He flipped us over and landed on top of me.
I kissed him and leaned up to bring him higher, but not so he'd stop.
When I parted our lips, I slipped my shirt off and looked at him. He stared at them and then into my eyes before kissing me once again and laying us back down.
He sat up and I looked at him. I watched as he licked his lips then grabbed onto the hem of his shirt and pulled it off.
First time seeing his body shirtless. It was beautiful and I felt over his chest before he came back down and put our lips together again.
