The Alpha's Goddess

Chapter 6

It has now been 15 years since Hercules and I moved to La Push. We often stay to our selves to prevent unwanted questions.

We've had to kill around 10 vampires over the last 15 years since we've been here and still no shifters yet.

Rachel and I were still close as could be. She got to a place where she even called me mom from time to time. She had to talk with billy about it because she didn't want to make anyone feel like she was replacing her mom with me. Billy understood and was okay with it. She was now in her freshman year of college Rebecca as well. I kept in touch with her some but not as much.

Jacob was well Jacob. I was never really close with him the older he got. He ended up having a crush on Bella. He was devastated when Renee left Charlie taking Bella with her but oh well. It's a good thing the bitch left. Renee had stayed out of my way since our first run in but I knew it was never the end.

After patrolling one afternoon, I heard a pain howl. Atlas and I hurried to find the source of the howl. Once we got to the woods there stood a tall black wolf. As soon as I laid my eyes on his I knew right then he was my soulmate. He growled at me until he looked into my eyes as well and stopped. He must have just imprinted on me.

"Hi, I'm Ariel, I'm not going to hurt you but I need you to open your mind so I can communicate with you." I tell him.

Today has literally been the worst day ever. My mother came back to town and shit hit the fan again. We always fight when she's here. After she left I couldn't hold in my anger anymore.

I was shaking and my temperature was rising. All of a sudden I'm bolting out the door into the woods. After a scream full of pain I look to see I have paws and let out another painful howl.

I begin to feel the ground around me shaking and look up to briefly see a girl with beautiful red hair on a horse. She jumps down and I growl at her. But then when I look into her eyes I freeze. I start to get images of our future together, us laughing, our wedding, kids and more. I am soon brought out of my trance when I hear her stunning voice.

"Hi I'm Ariel, I'm not going to hurt you but I need you to open your mind so I can communicate with you." She says.

I try and speak through my mind to her.
"I'm sam. I don't know what's happening or how to change back."

"That's okay you need to think of your self as a human to phase back." She says. I start to think about my human features and suddenly I'm on the ground on my knees. I notice I have no clothes on an begin to panic until she tosses a pair of jeans shorts at me.

"I'll wait for you and then take you to the elders." She says. I nod my head and go behind a tree to put on my shorts.

After I change I see her standing next to her horse who is just staring me down. I start to get a little uncomfortable at first until she smacks the horse on the neck.

"Enough Atlas he won't hurt me." She says.

"Uhh hi, thank you for helping me. I appreciate it. But who exactly are you?" I ask her.

She gives me a smile "I'm Ariel but you will know more when I get you to the elders. They are aware of you shifting and me bringing you to them. So let's head out." And then the mystery woman I'm somehow following willingly takes me to Billy Blacks house. Weird.

I get to Billy's and jump down off Atlas. I don't worry about tying him up I just head straight to the house. How do I tell them I just met my soulmate and what do I tell my dad. Uhg this is going to be interesting.

Once I get inside I see Billy, Harry, and Old Quil sitting at the table. Billy looks over at me then to sam and back to me. I point at my soulmate tattoo on my forearm and nod my head toward sam. Billy instantly starts to smile knowing what I'm talking about.

"Sam Uley, it's nice to officially meet you as a shifter." Billy says.

"Yeah, hi it's nice to meet you all too but can you tell me what's going on? I'm extremely confused." Billy beings to start telling him about the legends and the cold ones. Apparently the Cullens are back and with their permanent stay that's what caused sam to phase.

"Okay that all makes sense but why is she here? And why did I get images of us when I looked in her eyes?" He asks curiously. Billy looks at me nods his head.

"I'm Ariel Ocean, the daughter of Poseidon, Goddess of Animals and nature, princess of the seas and Atlantis. I am here because over the last 18 ish years I've been watching over the tribes land since there were no other shifters. Billy and my father are basically bestfriends and my dad and I are part of the treaty now in protecting the tribe from vampires." I say. Sam's eyes get huge and looks over at the elders and they all nod their heads.

"Before we get into you see images of us, I want to ask to see your either forearm please." I ask. He then shows me both and on his left he has a tattoo representing me and my initials A.O

"When did this appear?" I ask him.

"Probably 5 maybe 6 years ago. It just suddenly appeared and I didn't know why. So I played it off as a tattoo for anyone who asked." I nod my head in understanding and being to explain imprinting to him. I also explain how soulmates work for gods or goddesses with the tattoo marking.

"So I imprinted on you? And you already had your soulmate mark of me and my wolf and initials and since your a goddess I had a tattoo as well with your initials?" He asks.

"Yes essentially. I know it is a lot for you to take in right now but I will help you out as much as I can and take this at whatever pace you want. Part of the reason I am here is because even though you may be the alpha I can still control you if you lose control of your shift. I am able to help with your emotions and help you stay calm and relaxed as much as possible." I say.

"There is one thing you both need to know. If this soulmate and imprint bond is accepted, Ariel, you will become Luna of the pack since Sam is Alpha." Billy says.
We both nod along and once we finish up our meeting we head our separate ways.

Little did I know, that would be the last time I saw him for 2 weeks...
