The Alpha's Goddess

Chapter 7

It's been about a week since I met sam. He's been running patrol by himself or with Hercules. It's fine. I guess. Billy told me I needed to have a meeting with the Cullens to make sure they follow the original treaty so that's what I'm doing now.

I'm waiting at the line with Atlas. When they all vamp up to the line. Their scent hits me and makes me nauseous. "Hello, I'm guessing you all are the Cullens?" I ask.

"Hello, yes we are. I'm Carlisle, this is my wife Esme, and our adopted family Rosalie and Emmett, then there is Jasper and Alice and then Edward." He finishes introducing them.

"It's nice to meet you all. I'm Ariel Ocean. My father and Billy years ago met and my father since then has helped protect La Push from other vampires. Billy has asked me to step in to make sure you all go back to the treaty and do not bite another human or fed on them or I will be the one personally ending you. And whoever is trying to read my mind better stop before I get pissed" I state flatly. Edwards eyes go wide.

"If you do not mind me asking what are you? You don't smell human." Jasper speaks up with a southern accent.

"Im the daughter of Poseidon, the Goddess of animals and nature. So with your animal diet make it quick on the animal so they don't suffer is all I ask."

"Wait Gods and Goddess are real?" Emmett asks

"Seriously? Are you really asking me that when vampires aren't even suppose to be real." I say

"Okay point taken." Emmett says with a chuckle.

"Anyways we do have one shifter out right now but he's still learning everything that's why I am here along with my cousin. Do not cross us. We will end you without hesitation." I say getting back on atlas. "Have a good rest of your day." I say and head home.

Once I get home I go straight to laying on the couch. Since sam and I imprinted on each other and he hasn't been around and avoiding me, I have had a constant pain in my chest. But I keep pushing through it. I'll be fine.

I decide to call Hercules and tell him I'm going to Atlantis for a few days to see if he and Sam will handle patrol.
"Hello?" He answers.

"Hey, so umm I'm going home for a few days. I miss dad and need to get away and distract myself from this pain. So I'm going to Atlantis." I say.

"That's fine, I'll take care of everything."

"Thank you Herc. I appreciate it." I hang up and go outside to get atlas and head to the beach. Once I see no one is looking I have atlas change forms in the water and swim to Atlantis.

After finally arriving I go and look for dad. I find him in his office. "Hi princess I didn't know you were coming." He says hugging and kissing my cheek.

"Hi daddy" I say sadly.

"What's wrong." I can't help my shove my face into his chest and let a few tears fall.

"I finally met him, and he's been avoiding me for a week now." I tell dad.

"Oh princess"

"I helped him with his shift, and helped the elders explain everything and after that day he's been going on his own or with Hercules. My chest is in pain. Sometimes it hurts to breathe, and it's always tight. It won't go away daddy. I just want it to go away." I cry out.

The rest of the evening I stayed attached to dad. He kept me distracted. I even went out and swan around with a pod of whales for a little bit.
Nothing was helping. But it was fine. There wasn't much I could do except wait for him to come around or him to reject me.

I decided to stay for 4 days in Atlantis. The pain kept growing in my chest the longer I was gone but I tried my best to ignore it. One good thing about living underwater and no one can tell when you are crying unless you are dad. The ocean just carries the tears away for you.

"Okay princess, I think you need to go back to La Push." Dad says suddenly coming into my room finding me staring out the glass looking over Atlantis.

"Yeah I know. I just, I guess I've looked forward to this day for so long after listening to stories about you and mom. So I thought when I met my soulmate we would click and just start going forward you know? I never expected to be pushed away before he even had a chance to get to know me." I tell him softly.

"I know princess but everyone is different. Maybe he is struggling with everything. I'm not trying to make excuses for him but it could be that. I don't know princess."

"I know dad. I get it I guess. He was thrown into this life. Maybe it's not something he wants and I guess I'll have to accept that if he doesn't." I say hugging my knees to my chest.

"I'll always be here for you princess. Whenever you need me. But you need to go back."

"I know I'll get ready and leave in 20 minutes."

Ever since I phased it has been a lot to handle. Especially after finding out what Ariel was to me and I was to her. I just phased into a large dog and suddenly have a soulmate so of course the first thing I do is push her away and do patrols with her cousin or along.

4 days ago Hercules told me Ariel went home to see her dad. I was shocked to know she just left but I guess she told someone so I couldn't really say anything. Hercules had me come over to his and Ariel's house to keep away from everyone else so that's what him and I are doing now. Just laying around watching tv.

Suddenly I hear the door open and smell Ariel. "Hi Hercules I'm home." She says.

"In the living room." He responds. She walks over and walks eye contact with me giving me a sad smile.

"Hey good to see you guys. I'm gonna head to my room for the evening. I'll do late night patrol." She says quietly walking away.

"You ever gonna talk to her?" Hercules asks me.

"I don't know." I said.

"I'm not trying to be that cousin/brother but you need to figure out what's going on. She won't say it but I can tell she's in pain from that soulmate bond." He says.
