Flash back "Ariel tonight has been wonderful. Will you be my girl? My luna?" He asked me
I couldn't stop smiling and I placed my hand on his cheek and stroked it softly.
"Of course I will be yours, please just don't break my heart." I say. Sam smiles and pulls me closer to his chest.
"I promise to forever make up for what I have done to hurt you. To always be there for you and more. If you trust me with your heart i promise to never break it." He says.
"Forever is a long time since we don't age anymore." I giggle
"Then you better get ready for a life time of me making it my goal to keep that pretty smile on your face and making you fall crazy head over heels in love with me." He says.
"I look forward to it." I look up into his eyes getting lost. "Kiss me" I say to him.
He places both his hands on my cheeks leaning down and places his lips against mine. It felt like the world around us stopped. The kiss lasted for a couple minutes. When he pulled away I pouted wanting more. He chuckled at me and gave me one more soft kiss. I hummed in satisfaction feeling his lips on mine once again.
"Thank you for this date. I'm glad we did this." I tell him.
"Thank you for agreeing. I hope we can have another soon." He wraps his arms around me pulling me close as we finish watching the sunset.
He took me home that night and as he walked me up to the door he gave me a goodnight kiss. "Thank you again for tonight."
"You're welcome" he says.
"Goodnight my alpha" I say kissing him again.
"Mm goodnight my pup" he says smiling. I giggle at the cute nickname and wrap my arms around us neck for one more hug not wanting to let go. We soon part our ways for the night going to bed both extremely happy.
Flashback over
It has now been a month since that first date. A lot has changed too. I met Emily, Sam's best friend who is now my best friend, who is also Hercules's soulmate. Sam and I have also gotten closer over this last month. He spends most of his time here now instead of living on Emily's couch. "Hey Sam?"
"Yeah pup"
"Why don't you move in here? I mean there's plenty of bedrooms or you could stay with me in mine. You can move off the couch at Emily's place if you want to."
"You sure you are okay with that?" He says
"I mean yeah of course. We spend all our time together anyways. Emily is more than welcome here anytime she wants since she is Hercules's soulmate. So she will probably be here more often or her house can be their get away." I tell him
"Yeah, lets do it. I miss not being next to you anyways so why not."
The rest of the day, we spent moving Sam in. He did not have much because he left his mom's house after their fight. I then forced him to go shopping with me so we could get him more stuff to have at the house and make him feel more at home.
The next couple of days Hercules, Sam, and I had talked that once more wolves phased that this house would be the pack house they come to. Most wolves when they phase will have to cut out communication with their friends and family. Although I am the goddess of animal, I will let Sam take on the full Alpha roll. He said since it is so easy to be set off and phase he didn't want others getting pissed at school and phasing out hurting someone until it is under control like he did to me.
I totally understood where he was coming from. Plus we did not need people finding out about the supernatural world. Emily was the exception at first because Sam wolfed out. However, after I met her, and she came over to visit we noticed she and Hercules had the soulmate tattoos so she even found out what him and I were. She was excited to know that gods and goddesses were real.
When I told her my story she was ready to throw some hands. In that moment we became best friends. We ended up having a lot in common. She was easy to talk to. Especially about Sam since she knew him longer. Sometimes it was hard to read him but Emily told me more about his past and why he is so closed off. It allowed me to understand that I have to prove to Sam I won't abandon him like his father and mother did. That I will always be there. I also noticed he took his role as Alpha and protecting the land very serious. Which is fine, but I am trying to get him to relax some and enjoy life.
Emily has helped me with some ideas She was the sister I always wanted. Dad even loved her. He treated her like she was his own. It was nice finally feeling like a family. Everything was coming together with Sam and I, Hercules was happy, Emily still had her best friend so it was good. Emily and I did most of the cooking around the place. Hercules and Sam did not want me running night patrols so I would do mornings and they would do evenings and nights. That allowed Emily and I to rotate in making food.
The elders approached the same day telling us to be on the look out for new shifters. So we started watching two boys. Their names were Jared Cameron and Paul Lahote. They both started showing signs of phasing. Apparently Paul was already a hot head so I cannot imagine what his attitude will be like when he phases. All I know is Sam said to be ready and use my Goddess command on him if it gets out of control.
Sam has filled me in some on Paul's home life too. I guess living in a small area everyone knows everything. I guess his mother left, and his father is a dick to him most of the time. Paul parties a lot and sleeps around. I feel sorry for his imprint some day having to sit down and hear everything he has done. It was hard just to hear Sam talk about a girl he had a relationship with in highschool. There was also another girl Emily's cousin Leah who had a thing for Sam and still does but he was never interested in him. Even though it happened in the past I was still petty about it until Sam reassured me he wanted me.
Maybe once Paul phases and gets in a good environment his actions will change. Only one could hope though. The rest of the evening while Sam and Hercules were out patrolling, Emily and I lounged back on the couch with popcorn and whine watching the Bachelor.
