Mom got remarried to Phil and has been talking about travel with him and his baseball team. I didn't really feel like traveling so mom kind of pushed me to move back with Charlie.
However, the only reason she wants me to go back is because my cousin Ariel as a lot of money and wealth that apparently belongs to mom and I. According to mom, she was in love with this guy but her sister stole him from her and took everything that was suppose to be ours.
Ever since Charlie agreed to me moving back mom has been talking to me nonstop about getting on Ariel's good side so she trusts me and gives me what I want and deserve.
"Okay Bella, I just heard from Charlie and he talked to Ariel about trying to get her to help you around forks and to be comfortable. She completely blew up on him saying it wasn't going to happen and that we are not family to her. So when you go there, just do everything you can to make her life hell. She deserves it. I don't care what she says." Mom tells me.
"I don't see what the big issue is and what we deserve. Why can't you just tell me what you are hiding." I say to her.
She sits down and runs her hand over her face. "My sister didn't steal Poseidon away from me. He picked her but she knew I loved him and dated him anyways. Poseidon is a god and yes that sounds crazy but he is. He is the king of Atlantis and when he married Amphitrite she became queen. I was mad at her because that should've been mine and it wasn't. So when Ami came to visit me she was pregnant and I got even more mad and I poisoned her making her go into early labor and it killed her but her little brat survived. Ariel has everything that should've been ours. I want it all so I will stop at nothing to get it and then you can have powers, be powerful and maybe even reign over Atlantis someday if we get Ariel out of the picture." Mom tells me.
I sit there and take everything in. "I could have powers? Like a goddess?" I asked.
"Yes baby you can. You are so much more beautiful than her and would be better anyways. We could have everything." She says.
"Okay fine yeah. I'll do it. We deserve it like you said. Your sister took your first love and didn't even care. So I'll help you take her down somehow." I say.
I spent the rest of the evening thinking about how I could become a goddess and be powerful. I mean hell I'm already pretty and everyone wants me. So how hard could this be?

Ariel and I have been together for 9 months now and I want to propose to her on our one year anniversary. She's everything to me and I want to start my life with her. I asked Emily to help me keep her busy and distracted so I can go and talk to Poseidon today.
I told Ariel that I was running a longer patrol today so I wouldn't be around as much so I needed Emily to keep her distracted from me being gone longer than usual.
After I left I went to the beach. "Hey Poseidon if you can hear me, I need to talk." I say. I stood there for 5 minutes and Poseidon showed up.
"Hey what's up?" He said.
I took a deep breath and began. "Poseidon I love your daughter and I know it took my longer to step into this soulmate thing because of my own stupid reasons. Anyways, Ariel and I have been together for 9 months now. She is everything to me and I don't want to live another day without her being my wife. So with your permission, I want to propose to her on our one year anniversary." I say nervously.
He stands there looking at me for a few minutes and the awkward tension is growing. "When I met Ami she was everything to me as well and I failed to protect her. Before I give you my blessing, I need to know if you will protect her with your life especially around Renee and Bella if they every show up." He says.
"Well according to Ariel, Charlie came by a last month and saying Bella was moving back here and Ariel refused to do anything to help Bella. So I know she will be here and we will possibly be dealing with her. But I promise to do whatever I can to protect Ariel even if that means I die in the process to keep her safe." I tell him.
He keeps looking at me and then puts his hand in his pocket pulling out a ring set. "These were Ami's. I want Ariel to have them if you are okay with this set being the one you give her." He says.
He places the rings in my hand and they are stunning. They match Ariel's personality and it's her favorite color as well. "It's perfect. Plus it will mean much more to her knowing they were her mothers." I say.
"I give you my permission. Ariel loves you more than anything in this world Sam. Protect her and never take her for granted. I'd give anything to have my Ami back with me. Not a day goes by where I wish I would've done everything differently and then maybe she would've been here still. I can't lose my baby girl too. So I'm trusting her life to be in your hands and well protected." He says.
I nod my head at him and smile. "Anything for her." I say.
Poseidon then turned around and went back into the ocean. I looked at the ring again and fell in love with it even more. I can't wait for it to be on her finger.
